This was the most horrific car buying experience of my life.

Mr. Forman came to us for the purchase of a ""Modified Subaru WRX"". Mr Forman enjoyed this vehicle , and ""WANTED TO TAKE TO HIS MECHANIC FOR INSPECTION"". Mr Forman returned stating that his mechanic gave his approval and we would be moving forward with the sale (NO OIL LEAK(S)OR ANY MECHANICAL ISSUES WERE FOUND ). After 3 months we get a phone call from Mr. Forman stating that he has a engine problem, and another dealer will not warranty, and want him to pay $3,000. WE (Elmwood DCJR) located another dealer (Subaru) that will repair under warranty, and offered our assistance. Mr Forman declined our assistance numerous times. He chose to pay the $3,000 out of his pocket. more

I recently purchased my 5th vehicle from Elmwood Dodge. I have been doing business with them for many many years and have never been disappointed. I am considered family and it's great to be able to walk in and everyone from the sales dept to finance to service knows me on a first name basis. I have such a comfort in knowing if I have any problems I can pick up the phone and call my main man James and his words are always ""come in, you know we will take care of you"", and that they do. more

I was in the market for a new car and knew that there were some dealerships on the other end of 44. I went from one end of 44 which starts in Raynham and ended up in East Providence. Just want to thank you for the great service on my 2005 P.T. Cruiser. It was a perfect experience from the time Kenny @ Jessica made the initial call to gayle, my intake experience w/ robin and meeting the guy who worked on my car and took good care of it. I recently purchased a pre-owned Jeep from this dealership and would like to compliment Tony Scotti for his work as a professional sales person. Fromt he time I walked in the showroom where he greeted me, to the completion of the sale, he showed interest with warm personality, sincerity, honesty, and knowledge of his product and his walk thru of the sale and financial process up to a follow up phone call to my home a month after the sale. Same great experience after years and years 7/22/2011

I bought a Jeep Wrangler Sahara back at the end of February. Like a lot of people I was a bit leery about dealing with a car salesman and had held off a bit on buying a new vehicle because I didn't want to deal with the hassle usually involved with the process. I went to Elmwood and dealt with James Bray and not only was he super friendly and funny he took care of my needs. Even after the purchase I had a couple minor issues and it was a non event. I didn't feel the least bit like they just wanted to make the sale and leave me hanging after the fact. I would definitely recommend Elmwood and James to my family and friends. After the purchase I spoke to my dad about the experience and he said he had bought a car there years and years ago and had the same experience. more

No pressue with a fair deal 7/21/2011

I had really good experience at Elmwood Dodge recently. I bought a 2007 Honda Odyssey for a great price (I had done some research comparing prices for others in the area). The dealer had taken this van in trade and put in new brakes, new tires and a few other little things. I was impressed by how quickly and efficiently everything got taken care of from when we first looked at the van to when we drove away with it more

This is the fifth vehicle I have purchased or leased from Elmwood Dodge - specifically Richard Miranda. The reason for my recent purchase was due to the end of the lease on my previous vehicle. I previously leased a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan from Richard Miranda. On a return trip from Florida this April, the car broke down in South Carolina. The cost to me to repair the vehicle was $649.00. Upon my return and speaking with the service manager at Elmwood Dodge, Jim Verdoia, he advised me that had the incident happened in Rhode Island, he would have repaired the vehicle for me at no charge. He is currently diligently working with me to have my money refunded. I have never in all the years I have done business with these two gentleman had a negative experience. They are both courteous, professional and attentive to my needs. I would highly recommend this dealer. more

Elmwood Dodge - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE 11/18/2010

We are absolutely frustrated with this place. They have horrible customer service and do not own up to their mistakes, which will end up costing us thousands of dollars to fix, over a ""simple"" oil change. My mother has been a loyal consumer and brings her Durango there to get regular oil changes. This past week she went in for an oil change, drove the vehicle home fine, then the next day it would not start. We had to tow it there, only to have them say they were not responsible and that they would charge us to check it out. After towing it to yet another place, the mechanic informed us they did not put on the correct filter which caused damage to the engine. I'm not very car savy, not sure of all details of what exactly happened, but it was directly their fault and they will not take responsibility for it, which will now cost us over a thousand dollars worth in repairs. On top of that they had awful customer service. DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! more

Not Customer freindly! 3/15/2010

Not pleased with Elmwood Dodge. We went in for service on my husbands truck (which was purchased @ Elmwood). They told him he need his rear suspension fixed fine the total was around $700.00. My husband picked up the truck and by the next morning he noticed his exhaust was loose. He called them and they told him to bring it in. We brought in and they told us it would be another $400.00 to fix it. The car was fine before now they screw it up, and wont take any responsibility. Feels very shady!!! It would fine if they would of admitted they made a mistake. Pros: hours Cons: Dishonest and Rude more
