I used to live a few blocks away from Can American Motors and would pass them all the time. I bought a car with a bad differential and I asked them how much it would cost. They gave me a price so I went ahead with the info so they could take it out and install it. They worked pretty fast, was ready in a few days, and they were honest with me. Every time I go in they are very straightforward. For instance, last night they called me back about the status of the car and I am highly appreciative of their efforts. A few of my friends have even asked me if they should give Can American Motors a try and I always tell them that they are worth every penny, they provide the best service! more

I moved down from New York and was looking for a mechanic. It's hard to trust a mechanic when you're from out of town. Long story short, Chris at Can American was very helpful. He even suggested other places I could go if I needed to, but he was able to do absolutely everything. Even if my car doesn't need fixing, I'll stop by to drink a beer or something with the crew. They are definitely helpful and underrated. more

Poor business, poor service, poor communication. 9/10/2013

Can American Motors told me one thing and didn't follow through. They did not get my customer satisfaction. He portrayed something different from what he said he was going to deliver. They disappointed me. I brought in my car and he said he was going to get me a rental by Saturday so I can move around. I called on Saturday and the business was closed. So I called back Monday and I don't get him; I get his sister. She's the secretary. They give me the run around. I had told him that I don't have a credit card, but I can pay for it in cash. I have the money. I still don't get a rental and I didn't get my vehicle back. I figured since he didn't say anything that he doesn't want anymore down payment from me. I figure he's going to go ahead and get the parts and fix the vehicle. But when I talk to him again and tell him I need my vehicle, it turns out he hasn't done nothing to the vehicle. He said he didn't do anything because he needed the down payment. But why didn't he tell me that? He mentioned he was going to get me the vehicle, so I asked how much it is. He quoted the price and I gave him half the money and left. He promised that I would get the vehicle today. So I'm waiting to hear from him. I let him know that I didn't have a ride to get there--I'm stranded. He has lost a customer. The bottom line is that I'm a good customer. I deal with cash at all times. I'm not going back to him. He's hurt my feelings now. He's a poor business man. He should have talked to me. He turned his sister on me when he should have talked to me like a man. I have the money and I'm willing to pay. I don't know what his problem is. more

I got a great quote from Can American Motors for service on my Infiniti M45. The service was timely, and when I had a small issue with one aspect of the work done, they told me I could bring it back in right away and they would fix it at no extra trouble. more

My car broke down literally across the street, my timing belt broke. They helped me push the car in and got me a quote, then they did the work. They had me back on the road by the next day. The car has been running beautifully. This has happened to me before and the bill has been much more expensive, so I was very impressed. more

Can American Motors has done everything for me from AC work to the tires to all maintenance including radiator work, etc. I have been working with them for almost 20 years and trust their servicing. They really work with you and your financial needs, so they give a great incentive to keep coming back. Great payment plans for upkeep on your car and they understand the customer's needs. more

They towed the car and, I forget what was wrong with it but, everything turned out well. I had my car back within two days and have had no problems with it since. more

I thought the worst when my car lost power 1/26/2013

I had recently replaced the head on my car myself, when my car lost power I was worried sick, Chris found my engine mount failed, putting stress on and causing the heater hose to leak onto some compromised spark plug wires which was causing misfires, he replaced the hose, wires, plugs and even let Shelly give me a lift back to work after I dropped the car off. I never have any complaints about Can American Motors. I send people there all the time. They are very good. I have known Chris for almost 10 years, and all his employees are good and knowledgeable. I have multiple vehicles I brought to them. They serviced them all without any issues, and their prices are very competitive. They're just really nice people. They are good to work with, and they don't take advantage of their customers. more

Good, personable service 8/9/2012

My transmission was broken so Can American Motors fixed it. It turned out fine but my only thing I did not like is that it took longer than anticipated, about a week. I guess he was making sure that everything was okay. more

Dependable and prompt! 7/20/2012

The people at Can American Motors were prompt at attending the work on my car. The engine and transmission of the car went out, so rather than putting the time and money into a car of that age, I was told to junk it. I don't have a car right now, but when I get a car, I'll be happy to come back to Can American Motors to have them take care of it. They do excellent work, they're very nice to work with, and they're dependable and prompt. They're also reasonable in prices. I don't think others could do better than to use their services! Carol T.
