California Play Toys

I was looking for an old, vinage looking farm truck for our start up organic farm in Pennsylvania. I wanted a west coast truck w/ little to no rust and decided it was worth the extra shipping to be rust free. The 1966 Ford I purchased from California Play Toys by only seeing photos and speaking w/ Dana the owner, was exactly as he described it and the photos showed it to be. The only caveat was that although the 4WD worked as stated, the front locking hubs were not functional and would not engage. (Dana had no way of testing this as he does not have a lift) Since we were told by Dana the 4WD worked he stood by that fact and bought us new locking hubs and is having them shipped to us as I write. I found the entire experience of dealing w/ Dana to be very ""old school"" - very professional and honest as well. Many people would have shirked their responsibility on the 4WD , but Dana made good. We love the truck and it runs great. We are looking forward to many more years of good service from the truck here at Old School Farm. more

As the President of California Playtoys, Inc. I needed to repsond to the negative comment by 68 Camaro. This person purchased his car from Play Toys, Inc. which is a different company. I created California PlayToys in June of 2008 and and Play Toys Inc is no longer doing business at this address. I am sure he purchased his car before the above mentioned date. I am sorry if he had a negative experience but this comment is placed under the wrong business and has already had a negative impact toward my business. I have tried to give this information to Citysearch and they have ignored it. They need to remove this comment as soon as possible and I will strongly reccomend again that they do so. Purchased a vehicle that was grossly misrepresented. If you do not already know everything about the vehicle, do not trust them to tell you the truth. Ended up getting the District Attorney's office, the Department of Motor Vehicles and other entities involved. This happened some years ago, but the bitter taste is still there. I bought one vehicle based on the business owners' description and representation, and a much different vehicle was sold to me. Buyer beware!! Pros: charming, slick Cons: misrepresentation more
