There is a stark lack of Malay cuisine in general in Houston - especially after the closing of Cafe Malay awhile ago... although this location is really on the far west side of town, it serves up a delicious dish of Nasi Lemak, a traditional Malay dish that comes out to you all nice and separate, but truly comes to life when you mix it up on the plate and the blend of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors combine to form a delicious party in your palate. The place itself is very clean and the older lady serving us was extremely nice and polite. They take credit cards but there is a $10 minimum. Overall I was very pleased with my lunch here and I would not hesitate to come back to try more of their menu... maybe their roti... my only complaint is that it's so far from our home near Reliant... fortunately, I work in Westchase, so it's not that far of a drive during lunch. Note that they are closed Mondays.
