I have had a great time every visit i have made. The food is delicious and the service is good. All the women are ready to mingle and the music is fun. The treehouse lounge is fun and a bit more trendy with a D.j and an open air dance floor. I will definetly be back again and again! Pros: Great atmosphere more

The first time there I had a Martini and a seafood appetizer. Both were good, but the bartender was snotty, who's no longer there. Since then, service has always been good and the food decent to good. You go for the vibe not because the food is to die for. My friend got sick after eating there once, but I'd go, and she'd go, too, again and recommend it, too, for like I said - the vibe. Pros: Atmosphere Cons: Quality of food is unreliable. more

From the interior decor to the menu options that seemed to be endless. The butternut squash was delicious, Osso Bucco divine, pumpkin gorgonzola mashed potatoes different but tasty and last but not least the Lamb shank with gnocchi was very nice as well. Desserts were presented on pretty plates and were scrumptious in their own right. Great experience at Cafe Fiore! Had dinner reservations for 7:00 and didn't get seated until 7:30 however, we were able to get a seat at the bar and enjoy a delicious martini while we waited for our table. Food was good and service was outstanding. Made our way to the patio after dinner which ended up getting a little too crowded. Hard to get a drink at the patio bar once the place filled up, bartender seemed ""pushed to her limit"" and wasn't very friendly. Live music inside and better bar service. I was taken aback when I saw the AMAZING job done on the Tree House Lounge on Cafe Fiore's back patio. The cabanas were perfect, the drinks flowed, and the food tingled my tastebuds.... our server, Miss Valerie, kept the party going by informing us that a DJ began at 10, and sure enough, he did, and we danced the night away.... Ventura has come a long way! I haven't been anywhere that could hold a candle. Pros: Service, Atmosphere, Music, Food and Drinks Cons: We could have used this a long time ago more

For such a high class decor the food end the service should be "" on top of their Game"" food underseasoned my steak ( a really thin rib eye ) was tasteless served with ""never-been-on-the-grill"" grilled asparagus, soup of the day suppose to be carrots but i think was chicken stock based????? is not suppose to be vegetarian? My server a tall femminine guy was not in the best day of his life, and we notice that, he looked disappointed when the third person with us didnt order.................. be carefull how you take care of customers or somebody else will do it for you...... A friend and I went here about a month ago and we've been back several times since. Everything I've hed to eat was good and so was everyone else's. The drinks are a little pricey and so is the food but not out of line with the quality. I've only seen one bartender and don't know his name (works on Tuesday) but this guy is one of the best around, right on top of it when your glass is empty, knows the wines and keeps a good handle on his bar. You see a few twenty-somethings around here but mostly a bit older of a crowd with some money to spend, unusual for Ventura. The jazz on Tuesdays is good and not too loud. The music is more pop-rock on weekends but not obnoxious. Overall, it's a really nice place. more

Cafe Fiore is an true traditional Southern Tuscan food, I have eaten there numerous times and always have a consistent experience with a kind staff and wonderful food. I always reccomend people toeat at Cafe Fiore and always hear how people had a wonderful time. This place is great for birthday's annivesarys, and yummy martinis. Plus they host a diffent events such as Cigar nite and wine tasting, this is the most inovated resturat that has not lost its flair in Ventura. Its Bella!! My mom and I went.. leaning against big fat pillows is pretty relaxing. The food was good and the martini was REALLY good. I had a raspberry lemon drop martini. But--the worse part was our waiter left and we were wondering where he went..then we spotted him about 20 min later-- folding napkins. Weird. Overall, it was a nice experience for lunch. My girfriend and I had an amazing dinner here. From the moment we came in the door we felt well taken care of. The hostess was very warm and knowledgable. Our server was awesome. He knew the wine list. He helped us with all the questions we had. Made some amazing suggestions. We absolutely loved every minute of it. It was my girlfriends birthday dinner and they made the occasion one to remember. I very highly recommend this place! more

We made a reservation at Cafe Fiore for 8:30 and were not seated until 8:55 and the hostesses were unprofessional and didn't seems to be in any rush to seat us. Once seated we complained about the wait and the waiter apologized and asked if we would like a drink. The implication was there that the drink was free but it wasn't, he charged us anyway. We ordered our appetizer without ordering our main meal so we could enjoy it and take our time. Then we ordered our main course and yet before we were were halfway done with our appetizer our meals arrived. We felt very rushed and as if they wanted to get us out of there after making us wait to sit. Not the experience we've come to expect from an upscale restaurant and the food is just alright. Don't bother, go to Capriccio down the street, better food, better service and its cheaper. Our waiter was quick and courteous. He had a very warm smile and we did not have to ask him to take our plates or refill our drinks. The place was beautiful and the dessert was amazing... I will definitely return for some other special occasion, it was so romantic! Pros: Live music, great drinks, great dessert more
