CMC Home Energy Audit 1/23/2019

The energy audit alone is something every homeowner should do. This was our first and we learned a lot about our home (5 years as owners), qualified for many rebates, and had many repairs/improvements made on the spot. I would like to highlight Bruce (and his team). Their professionalism, patience, and expertise coupled with their ability to share information in an easy to understand (non-condescending) manner made this experience beyond worthwhile. They encountered several interesting (and unexpected issues) in our home and did not flinch. Rather they offered additional solutions and informed us how to rectify some on our own. They took their time, did not rush any job, and probably stayed a lot later than they had planned. We highly recommend CMC Energy Services (specifically Bruce) to any home owner! more

Bruce & Mark from CMC were clearly very knowledgable, professional, and explained thoroughly what they were going to do, They answered all of our questions, and made a number of helpful suggestions. Home Energy Audit 1/14/2019

Rob and Tony were professional in appearance and in their dealings with me. They clearly explained what they would do during their visit. I noted that they prepared a laydown area for their tools by putting a tarp on the floor to contain any types of leakage or debris. The work that they did to weatherstrip doors to the crawlspace and cellar (both areas of significant inleakage) was well done, as was the application of foam sealant around the rim joist in the cellar. Robert was able to answer all of my questions to my satisfaction. Both Rob and Tony ensured that their respective work areas were clean of debris. They left the house as clean as it was when they arrived. The simple act of arranging and marking of all replaced light bulbs in a central location was appreciated. more

Home Energy Audit 1/10/2019

Lead technician Bruce and his partner Mark M. did a wonderful job. They tried to be low key and efficient with their time. I felt they went out of their way to find things, inform me and attempt to improve my energy conservation and savings plan. Very knowledgeable and pleasant men to talk to. Andrew and Dan worked longer then a full day providing excellent service while making my home more energy efficient. They were kind, courteous, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I appreciated that they took the time to explain the process to me and benefits of the improvements. They left my house in the condition they found it in, leaving no mess. They were really amazing! more

Waste of our time 11/13/2018

Since I wasn't informed beforehand that we would need access to our tenant's apartment, they weren't able to do the fan in the doorway thing. All they ended up doing was changing some light bulbs, putting some insulation on the hatch to the attic & wrapping something in the basement. I'm sorry I opted to add $10.00 to our solar panel monthly bill for this service! more
