CBI Security/ New Hire 5/27/2011

I have just recently been hired as a new Security Officer for CBI Security. I am looking forward to my new employment. I really appreciate reading the positive comments about CBI Secuirty. I am sorry for the comments that were negative. I have meet with Jayson Cooper and Lorraine Kapp. They seem to very nice and willing to go the extra mile to help out new employees. I have worked for CBI for one year. I was working at a great site with some great officers. The only reason I quit was the pay. I was not given the pay that I was promised. I will work for them in the future. Pros: Have Great sites Cons: Pay more

Crap company. 10/19/2009

If Greg was well enough to see how these idiots are running his pride and joy into the ground they would be fired. I dont know about you but when I hire a armed security officer I get what I pay for. At 16 Dollars an hour you can get a well groomed in shape well trained security officer. For CBI's 9 dollars an hour you can get a 80 year old man with a walker and cat hair all over his clothes. Yes CBI has a handfull of good officers but the large number of crappy officers that shouldnt be in a uniform let alone carry a fire arm tips the scale. YES CBI IS NO GOOD ..... THEY WIPE THEIR BUTTS ON THEIR EMPLOYEES......NOT ONLY THAT BUT THEY DO WASTE YOUR TIME N MAKE YOU PAY FOR THINGS THAT YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS PAYING FOR ITS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY AS EMPLOYERS TO PROVIDE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT. RUDE people who exploit employees with lies redundant but required training and NO cecern for employee safety. 2/23/2009

WARNING!avoid these people at all costs! Pros: none unless you like to spend money on equipment and worthless training then not get any hours Cons: very rude-lie to applicants -make them wastre money and time on redundant and worthless training more

CBI Security SLC, Utah 9/11/2008

I have worked for CBI Security in SLC, Ut for 9 years and it is the best company I have ever worked for. The CEO and the upper management are awesome. They do offer benefits for the full time employees and it is up to the Officer on how fast they want to do their training (after the required training) that is offered thru CBI in order to climb the corporate ladder. Pros: Everything if you like to work Cons: Nothing more

Terrible Company to work for... 9/25/2007

CBI Phoenix is the worse run security company I have dealt with. They are appathetic about their employees and ignorant of the TRUE meaning of security. With over 20 years in Law Enforcement and almost 10 in Security, I worked for them for about 9 months and had to move on. Of the orginal 20 hired in Arizona, there are 3 left and the company hasn't been here for 12 months! Pros: it's a job ... if you need it Cons: low pay, no benefits, appathetic employeer more
