Work done ok but plumber needs a review in Customer Service. 10/5/2011

After reading the reviews on here, we felt confident in calling this company and having our water heater replaced. I will say that in over 30 years of home ownership this was the worst experience with a company that we have ever had. The work was satisfactory but the employee sent to do the work was late, condescending and rude when asked questions, and argued with myself and my husband when we asked why he couldn't give us a break down on the cost. I also asked what type of water heater, his reply was "should be" a .... Well, sorry but if I am paying you $2,500 then the answer I would like is "Will be". I have never had a service person treat me as this gentleman did and especially not in my own home. I would just advise caution when using this company and if a service person from here walks into your home with an attitude, by all means call and ask for someone else. more

Clogged pipe issue resolved. 9/6/2011

I was looking for a plumbing company that would come out on the same day to take care of my leak problem. The plubmer that came out knew exactly what was wrong and was able to take care of it. The price quoted was reasonable and I was impressed by his professionalism and how knowledgable he was of his work. I plan on using this company in the future and would recommend them. more

Service was great. I called at 1:00, the technician was here by 2:15. Our water heater was on the verge of explosion (it didn't look like it, but after they picked it up, half of the bottom of the tank lay corroded on the floor). Overall, wonderful experience. This is my 2nd experience with CW Plumbing and both have been great. more

We needed a plumber immediately and your dispatcher sent someone within the hour. He saved the day and did an excellent job. We had just purchased an older home and we needed new turn off values. He did them all. Thank you very much...we will definitely use this company again. more

Not bad, not great 8/10/2011

The tech was pleasant. Communicated clearly. However, the charge for the work done felt like a waste of money. The experience was not good enough to compensate for the over charge. more

My situation was an emergency and I was taken care of in a very timely matter. The lady on the phone was very helpful and kept in the loop. The man that came was professional and very kind and explained everything to my understanding. I have already told others how pleased I was. Vince installed our new water heater and was very professional and knowledgeable of inner workings of the water heater. C&W was very accomodating with our payment arrangement to ensure that we had hot water. We have used C&W for many years and will definintely continue to do so and continue to refer others to C&W. more

It was an ordeal 8/5/2011

After having surgery and spending a couple of nights in the hospital, the last thing that I needed was to have my kitchen flooded by a leaking dispose-all. I explained all this to the service and they told me that they could have someone at my home FIRST thing on Friday. I asked what time that would be and they said 8:30. The service tech didn't get here until after 9:30. And all he wanted to do was "upsell" me to other services such as toilet replacement etc. I understand that these are tough times and businesses need to get more business. BUT I am not feeling well and I finally had to tell the guy that I just wanted to get the disposer fixed! That was also expensive - $229 to re-install the garbage disposal. more
