I would not recommend this company for any plumbing work, they are overpriced, rude and very unprofessional.
C&W came out on a Monday evaluate the job which turned out to need a replacement of 3/4 pollywater service and I decide that they would do the job. I was told that the job would be complete by Friday. On Friday, I get home in the afternoon and there is a red ticket on my door from the city with a list of problems. I called and they said that it will be Monday before they could get out there to fix the issues. On Monday, I called back and after talking with the receptionist, who was very rude, I ask to speak with the sales person who came out for the initial visit to get an understanding of why a company of this caliber would be getting 'red' ticketing. I finally got to speak with him, who preceded to tell me that the city inspector was wrong and that they (C&W) were right. He went on to say that they (C&W) have had problems with this particular inspector before and that the inspector wants the specs one way and the other inspectors have different spec requirements. My answer to this was I thought all inspections follow a city standard. I did not believe his explanation. On Tuesday, of the next week, I called back and spoke with the office manager and the Service manager to get a better understanding of what was going on. The office manager passed the phone to the service manager and he said that they have a 'green' ticket now and it was the city inspector that was wrong and they (C&W) are at my house now finishing the job.
My problem with the entire project was:
1. The customer service was below standard, meaning there were no updates initiated by C&W, I had to call to find out what was going on.
2. I would not expect a company like this whose advertisement states that they have the 'highest integrity and professional qualities' to get 'red' ticketed on sure a job.
3. Their customer service is not very good, I felt as if my calling to inquire about the job was 'bothering' them, the receptionist at one point raised her voice to me when I asked to speak with Doug.
4. I asked if there would be some type of compensation for my inconvience and the service manager laugh and said no, what inconvience. Well the fact that a 'red' ticket was stuck on my door for all the neighborhood to see and the fact that you have taken so long with such a small job.
