Had dinner at Cinelli's New MacGregor restaurant location and it was Great. Food was delicious with nice large portions. Entire family loved their dishes. Almost too much to eat a...

Cinelli's has ""distanced"" themselves from the former Vincent's in Cary (there's still a Vincent's on Capitol Blvd) - and there's good AND bad in that... while they've toned down...

Cinelli's = SINelli's 7/26/2011

I dont have much to say besides "ew". They call their pizza, pizza? I may be from the south but at least I know when I see decent pizza. Took nearly 12 minutes to grab 3 slices of grandma THAT WAS MUSHY. Yes mushy - or DOUGHY. Then my girlfriends fried calamari was just embarrassing to even eat. We both ate scraps so we can pay and NEVER come back. Maybe they need a different manager/owner?? more

Not so Cinellis 7/26/2011

I used to enjoy Gianni & Gaitanos of Wakefield for the years it was open. My husband and I drove around In Cary one day and stumbled upon a nice looking restaurant, Cinelli's. Unfortunately, I wont be eating there again. Restaurant was cold, food was cold, and so was the service. If the wait staff wasnt helping the 3 patrons in the restaurant, they laughed and joked at the bar. Food was OK despite the cold temp. It was nothing like their reputation, very disappointing more

so much tasty... but beware the arribiata 3/18/2006

Whenever in CAry, it seems we always end up a Cinelli's, I like to sit in the window room place. Ordinarily I get a calzone, and am quite pleased, I should stick with what I know is a winner and not branch out... but I did and tried for the penne al arribiata. I had it in Italy, and loved it, it means "Angry Pasta" because it is supposed to be hot and garlicy... Just in case, I asked them to make it not very spicy, even though I usually love spicy things, I'd definitely say more than the average person. When it came... it was all I could do not to cry just from breathing in the fumes. it was 1/2 pasta, 1/2 jalapenos. too spicy to even nibble at. No one could eat a whole noodle. So, The pizza is great, the calzones wonderful, but avoid that angry pasta! more

Good food.. tough to follow that review 11/4/2005

I guess we never got that waiter. Anyway, the pizza is terrific, and so are the hot subs. The chicken parm is my favorite. I can't recall a problem with service there - I usually stop by with my son and we are taken care of with no problems, other than a waiter forgetting an item here or there. If you miss good NY or Chicago pizza, try it. more

I don't know what to say about Cinelli's. This was my favorite restaurant in the Triangle - I even celebrated my last birthday there. The pizza is fantastic - by far the best pizza I've found in the Triangle. (I adore Chicago deep dish style pizza.) The service, however, leaves something to be desired. I convinced a bunch of co-workers to go to lunch there one day. The waiter was rude from the start - demanded that I show him where exactly on the menu the thing I wanted to order was. Very strange. One guy ordered a salad/sandwich combo. The waiter brought the salad (along with some other salads for the table). The waiter brought the rest of the food, but not the guy's sandwich. Oh, all of this took forever, and it was very difficult to flag the waiter down to get drink refills. We finally flagged the waiter down again to ask for the checks and about the guy's sandwich. He looked confused, went in the back, brought out the sandwich. Guy said we don't have time, make it to-go. Waiter brought it out to-go along with everyone's check - including the guy who sat there watching the rest of us eat! I said, "Are you kidding?" Guy said, "I don't think I should have to pay for this." So waiter took the check. He came back a minute later and took the sandwich back!!! It was like the soup nazi on Seinfeld!!! I wrote management and asked to be notified of when the waiter is let go so that I can return. more
