Pronto Restaurant And Pizzeria

Had lunch at Pronto's on 10/12/10. Ordered my usual, the Portabello Mushroom sub and fries; it is SO good. My friend and I were still eating when the waitress came to our table and said, ""When you guys finish, I can go home."" We were absolutely shocked. I told her to bring me the ticket. I let her run my credit card, but continued to eat. I have never had a waitress be so openly concerned about her own needs. She could have left and turned our table over to someone else since it was 2:00 and the restaurant was not crowded. When we left she was still there rolling silverware. She got a $2.00 tip (about 12%) and I thought I was being generous considering her rudeness. I will go again, but will ask not to be at this waitress' table. more

My husband and I ordered the chicken and eggplant parmesan for take out. The order was repeated to me over the phone so I assumed it would be correct. Upon arriving home we discovered that we received chicken marsala instead. Called the restaurant, took the order back and retreived our correct order. When we arrived home for the 2nd time with the food, we soon realized that when we returned the order it had merely been covered and cheese and marinara sauce and returned to us. My husband could still taste the wine and the mushrooms. That order was thrown away. When I tried my eggplant, it was slimey, salty and the marinara tasted as if it came out of a can. Sauce was too thick and tasted extremely sweet. I guess that was to make up for the slimey/salty eggplant. It was absolutely gross. So my order is also being thrown away. I can completely understand an order mix-up, however what I do not agree with is using the returned dish to attempt to make a completely different dish all together. I have ordered subs, etc., at this restaurant before without problems; however, after their ""fix"" I cannot say I will ever eat there again. It is a shame, as it was so conveniently located smack in the middle between my office and home. Pros: none that I could see Cons: too many to mention more

My husband and I moved from the Metro NY area and were pleasantly suprised to discover such delicious pizza! Now we've been back twice and continue to rave about the calamari! The place is packed around lunch time, tables are small (unless you are with a group a large enough to warrant them giving you the BIG table) but the crust and the sauce more than make up for it. The meditteranean salad is also great! Reminds me of the pizza in NY that you get in the the Greek pizza shops.... Pros: Great Food, Great Value Cons: Noisy, Small Tables more

I love this place. This is the best pizza I have ever eaten in my whole life. I had a great experience in this restaurant and I reccomend it to everyone. Pros: good parking, great food, great place more

hated the food- i ordered a veggie stromboli and the broccoli was very salty and watery- it was terrible- i threw away 10 bucks Pros: nice, friendly, timley Cons: yuck, nasty, smelly more
