The ""Standard TV & Appliance"" story's end: The two senior techs assigned to my ""case,"" David and Tim, returned to my home this morning and in just over an hour replaced the entire broiler. This was a big job and they did it cheerfully, quietly, and well. They kept their promise to make me whole, and agreed to the terms thereto. In other words, the company did right by me. I've got fire: looks like there'll be some Christmas broiling after all! Thanks, Standard TV & Appliance, most especially supervisor Stephanie and techs David and Tim, for keeping your promise. Keep It Clean Wiring at 201 SE. Oak St. will not return phome calls, nor answer emails. I purchased their product and having trouble with it and they will not respond. I would like my money back as I have ordered a new product from another supplier. The service is bad and their product is junk. more

BEE TAILORS ON Salmon near Broadway in Portland, ripped me off for work they did not do. If I had not gotten the pants back they would have destroyed brand new Joseph Aboud pants making them too short, Tailor does not speak English well enough to do her work. They took the money, no refund and not even close to when it was promised. WORST BUSINESS IN PORTLAND! Owner just ignored me! more

Curtis Miller Auto Sales lied and deceived us on our shipping of a car bought from them and will do nothing to make it right and when trying to discuss the issue i was given an ultimatum and then hung up on after calling me a liar...not a good place to buy a car or do business. more

Lovett Services - $69 down the drain! What legitimate company charges for an ESTIMATE and then quotes an astronomical fee, so that you are stuck with either paying an exorbitant fee ($425-$450 to unclog a drain!) or paying the $69 estimate fee and receiving NOTHING?! Do not work with any company that charges you a fee for an ESTIMATE! more

Quality RV will not honor verbal contracts. They will lie to you face. Is this enough said? Not worth your time let alone your hard earned money. Spend your money somewhere that has integrity! more

Beware of pricing. Do not get scammed. If you are elderly or appear to have money they will charge you literally three times the market rate for flat work. I know this based on personal experience. BEWARE more

These are so-called ""property managers"" who supposedly handled paying our rent to our out-of-town-landlord as well as providing maintenance services on the garden and house. For 3.5 years, they did one repair and put in a rear deck that is the worst job I or anyone has ever seen. The deck sags in the middle and is getting worse, they used inferior materials (fake wood), improper screws that now pop out regularly and did not secure it to the house. The railings were all cut unevenly and are bowed and falling apart by the day. And its getting worse. We continue to pay for this horrible ""deck,"" (as part of our rent) which needs to be taken out and replaced and re-built with real wood by a real pro carpenter. Not only did they provide no services for their share of our rent every month, they also sent our on-time first of the month rent check to the landlord 2-3 weeks late every month to add more stress and threatened to evict us, even though we paid every month along with the late fee when it applied. Beware. These people are not professional by any standard and a criminal complaint should be filed. more

This company was hired by a friend who wheeled and dealed between the two of them and put a poor quality air condition system in a friend's home for top dollar. Not knowing otherwise, i hired this same company to put a new system in my daughter's home and made no such deal. Just that he put what was necessary to put the new system in. My friend air condtioner ended up not cooling her house and called the company out. He then told us that he made a deal with the guy to put an insuffient system in for the house. A few weeks later the system that he put in my daughter's home went out, too. I went over and it was the same one that my friend has in her house. Neither of them have any info on the system. My son-in-law made an appt. with the guy to have him come out and he failed to come and since then neither them or myself can get Victor to return calls or come out. He was Johnny at the rat hole to get his money the very day he put my daughter's AC in. In fact, he had his wife come over and get a check so he could get it cashed before they left on a trip! Would I recommend him?. No. The AC should be under a warranty, but he won't return calls to come fix what he put in or to see why it is not running. We paid him good money and we were were fair and up front with this guy. It was a good faith endeavour on our part. Beware. more

They replaced my broken, cracked driveway, sidewalk and walkway with brand new concrete work...that CRACKED within 2 weeks of being poured! They also left a nice big 'low spot' in my new driveway that becomes a large puddle of water after any rainfall (we're talking Portland) that I have to walk/splash through to enter or exit my garage door. The finishing work on edges and lines was very sloppy/shoddy. they promised to return to replace what work was cracked; which is ALL of it now, and never came back. They got my money, and their last and only offer of a solution is to 'patch the cracks'! which I would not accept. I was told not to contact her again, except through her lawyer. I am forced to file complaints with the BBB, The Oregon Construction Contractors Board and The Attornery General in an attempt to get my $3,000.00 refunded; since the entire job will have to be replaced! I recommend you steer clear of F & L Quality Concrete LLC. more

They got my money and the shoes. I wait tables and need supportive, non-slip shoes. They carefully measured my feet and then gave me the wrong size shoes, and their promise that they were non-slip was wrong in the extreme. Their claims of being a ""medical facility"" is ludicrous in the extreme when they gave me the shoes they had on hand rather than the correct size. I returned the shoes, but got nothing in return. They never showed up to pick our son and daughter-in-law on their wedding day to take to their hotel. Everybody waited and they never called or showed. It had been set up for weeks and confirmed the day of the wedding. They are a scam. They don't return calls.They are awful and it was a mean thing to do. On my recommendation, My niece used Zober Images for her wedding on Labor Day Weekend, 2007. It is now March 27, 2009 and my niece has not received her wedding pictures. She paid over $1,200.00, so this is not a financial issue, it is extremely slow service. Now my niece is praying that she will recieve her images before her second anniversary. I recommend that you look elsewhere for a photographer if you are in a hurry to get your wegging pictures in time to send out with your Thank-you notes. I used the car wash at Chevron Mall 205 and it broke out the closed pop out window to my Snugtop Expo campershell. The Manager John refused to pay the damage of $185 because he said that the campershell was after market. He also refused to give me the owners name. more
