I had to share with everyone my great experience at Antoine Du Chez on County Line. Pros: Great Customer Service

Since I have moved to Denver about 5 years ago I have been going to the Cherry Creek location with Kelli. I loved her haircuts but one time I took my niece to get a brow wax and I...

Editorial review from Citysearch 8/18/2012

terrible. took picture and color codes for my high and lowlights and still my hair came out a muddy grey color. flat and dull. the cut was a disaster - i specifically said keep the length in front - i want the front LONGER than the back - he proceeded to cut two fat chunks off the front sections of my hair. it looks horrible and..cost me over 300 bucks. i feel raped. more

Horrible experience.... 4/18/2011

This salon was not only overpriced but the staff was incredibly unprofessional, rude, and has no regard for their client?s time. The colorist was not only late for my appointment but also did a horrible job! Rather than coming out of the appointment with my highlights a caramel color, which I had asked for, my highlights were an orange and streaky. When I called back to explain that I was extremely unhappy with my color the receptionist explained that ?she was terribly sorry but there was nothing that she could do? and asked if I would like to make an appointment with another color specialist for full price. This company not only treats their clients with a blatant disregard for their time but they will not even back their stylists and products. Furthermore the owner Christy Fitzpatrick was rude and arrogant when I called to explain my situation. After multiple calls I finally received a call back after over a week of trying to get in touch with her; the call did not end in a resolution to my problem. Eventually I ended up going to a different salon to have my hair fixed by a competent hair stylist. I will never go back to this salon nor would I recommend it to my worst enemy. You would probably be better off using an over the counter hair dye and doing it yourself than trusting your hair to this company! more

Never again! 4/4/2011

If you want to have your appointments cancelled the day before you go on vacation, then this is the place for you. I make my appointments 4-6 weeks in advance but this place continually calls me the day before to cancel - not reschedule - cancel! Daniel is rude and arrogant and apparently believes that people will take this type of treatment. The highlights I received there were acceptable .... as long as you didn't look to closely! more

Piper for brows! 1/24/2010

I was at the Marriot for an American Crew event this month. I was having my picture taken the next day and my brows were a MESS! Pros: perfect brow wax more

Not your usual Cherry Creek Spa!! 5/18/2009

I have been going to Antoine du Chez for 5 Years now and cannot imagine going anywhere else! I see Piper once a month for all my skin care needs. This includes microdermabrasion and Waxing. I have been getting microderm for a year and a half now. My skin looks and feels amazing! We do a facial each month often rotating between the Microderm facial and the Triple Phase Peel. I have had plenty of other facials at numerous spas and to be quiet frank I was extreamly scared to go back. The Peels at other spas caused my face to break out and peel at an alarming rate. I am only 28 but feel like it is important to look and feel good, I do this through Keeping my skin looking clean and healthy. The microderm is a non-abrasive procedure which includes a facial. Not scary at all. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for!!! I am not ready to sacrifice my face to get a bargain. On top of Piper having great customer service the spa itself is top of the line. It has a fireplace to relax at before your spa service, nice comfy robes and a great lockeroom. Pros: Great customer service, Amazing technicians, Environment Cons: Honestly nothing! more

Great Salon and Spa Experience 3/19/2009

From the moment I walked in to Antoine Du Chez I was in for one of the biggest treats of my life. I was taken back to the locker room, where I changed into a fluffy white robe, sat down by the fireplace for a luxurious foot soak and then taken into a beautiful peaceful massage for a deep tissue massage. From there I went into a facial room and had a ginseng herbal facial. My skin felt brand new after the service. I was served a wonderful lunch which I ate in a special area that was very relaxing. After my lunch I had a manicure and pedicure in one of the most beautiful rooms I've ever been in. People were constantly asking me if they could get me water or a drink or anything. Nails were not the last item on the list. I had a great shampoo and then went on to have a new haircut. A professional make up application was the final touch to a fabulous day. I felt like a princess when the technicians were finished. The front desk was very courteous and extremely professional. I would recommend the Spa and Salon to anyone. In fact before I left I purchased a gift card for a friends birthday present. I know she enjoys it as much as I did. Pros: Best Customer Service Cons: There were no cons more

Not impressed at all 2/4/2009

I researched Microdermabrasion and Antoine du Chez was the most expensive so I though they would do the best, well I WASTED $240.00. it was a waste of time and MONEY, I well never go back there again, and they were not willing to give me a refund or percentage of another service. very very unhappy with the serve PERIOD. Pros: location Cons: parking, prices, more

Better than the top salons in NYC and LA 2/2/2009

I moved here from NYC and tried 6 different colorist/stylists before finding Antoine Du Chez in Cherry Creek. Not only are the stylists (Todd and Octavio) and the colorists (Kim and Melanie) amazingly talented - even with my high standards, but the overall experience is top notch. The people that greeted me were amazingly friendly, the salon is clean, their mani/pedi area is really comfortable. Pros: No more running around town to look good. The full salon and spa allow me to get cut, colored, waxed and polished all in one visit! Cons: parking can be tough, but they are willing to go and refill the time on your meter or you can park across 1st ave at the mall and walk over more

Nothing to see here 10/1/2008

the staff is so rude. I USE to go to this salon for several years and I have just had it. Pros: great colorist, Jenny and she works on sundays Cons: snobby, expensive, rude, long waits, meter parking, they offer you a glass of wine and end up charging you $18 for it! more

Good Overall - Haircuts are a Good Value/Reliable 7/11/2008

I've been going to Antoine du Chez for ten years - ever since I moved here from another small town in CO, and my hairstylist there said he got his training through ADC. He says the stylists have ongoing training, and I can confidently say even the stylists that have been around for a while are up-to-date on trendy techniques. Every time I've had my hair cut here - and I'm talking a lot of haircuts - I've been happy. I think you get what you pay for when it comes to haircuts. Coloring is a little less reliable and is comparatively expensive. At this location and other ADC's, I've had good luck with Jack (but he moved), Tricia (ditto-went to another salon), and Kelli. I also went to a Latina girl who was a pleasant conversationalist and who cut my hair well but dyed my hair an unflattering red and charged WAY too much ($300+ which I thought should've been illegal!)...I'd recommend Kelli with one caveat - she is way cool and does an excellent job listening and taking her time cutting hair, but because she takes a lot of time with other clients and often falls behind in her schedule, sometimes you're the one waiting... Pros: Haircuts - Good Value Cons: Parking limited; Color/highlights pricey more

Decent Massage, Lockers DIDN'T WORK, and paper-thin walls for treatments 2/20/2008

I usually have a massage every month, and my fiance sent me here on my birthday for one. First of all, I spent an awkward 20 minutes trying to find a locker with a key that I could actually lock and unlock without difficulty. Not cool. Then I had a brief foot soak before my treatment. During my massage, I began to hear the very loud slamming of cupboards. I asked the therapist what that noise was and she said it was most likely the ""therapist coming in for the start of her shift, getting supplies out of the cabinets."" I was kind of shocked, as this slamming sound went on for a while, and also why a THERAPIST who knows more than anyone that treatments are going on would make such a ruckus. My therapist was actually very good, it just was not cool to have all this banging during what is supposed to be a relaxed service. After my massage I asked someone in the hallway if I could borrow a hair dryer, as there wasn't one in the dressing room area/showers/bathroom. Someone brought one in, I stepped in the shower to rinse, and then the hairdryer was GONE when I came back out of the shower. I then had to poke my head out of the dressing room to see where the hairdryer had gone. Someone finally brought me another one, but the situation was kind of weird. If you want a total spa experience, this is definitely NOT it. Its of course the salon downstairs with the spa located upstairs. I think the focus should be on one or the other, as you can hear hairdryers and ""salon chatter"" in the hallways as well when you walk to your treatment room. I wish I could find a spa in Denver that would just focus on spa services! Apparently Cherry Creek's Antoine isn't the place for a relaxing spa day. Look somewhere else! Also, good luck finding a parking spot. Pros: I got a massage Cons: Loud noises while you're in treatment rooms, little parking options, and lockers that don't work more

Nam's the best 10/20/2007

Ok, I'm just completely blown away. This is the best my hair has felt and looked, EVER! I trust stylists to give me the best cut and style. They should know what is HOT and what is NOT. I've looked back on all sorts of pictures and I can't say that I liked any of them. Pros: So freindly Cons: There isn't and Antoin du Chez in Manhattan more

Terrible up front customer service , great stylist Kelli 7/27/2007

Since I have moved to Denver about 5 years ago I have been going to the Cherry Creek location with Kelli. I loved her haircuts but one time I took my niece to get a brow wax and I scheduled my appt. for a cut and brow wax for three weeks out so I could have a nice cut and brows for a trip I was taking. I showed up for my appt. with my little appt. card in hand and to my surprise I was not their list for the day (I traveled from Littleton). The young girl at the counter was not very nice she just straight out told me that who ever booked my appt. did not put it in the computer and basically I was SOL!!! I explained to her that I had scheduled far in advance and she suggested I come back another time. No other type of accomodations were made. I felt so upset that it was no big deal for her, I was just another client. I never went back because of this BAD experience but I really did love the cuts Kelli gave me and her persoanlity was great. I would go back to her at another location. I since have started to go to a salon right down the street and I love it. Pros: hair stylist Kelli Cons: parking (but it's Cherry Creek), front desk service more

This place is 6/10/2007

I met this Hairstylist, NAM, down in lodo at a club. He had come up to me and told me that my hair looked nice but it could look better. At first I thought he was hitting on me, but he explained that he did hair in Cherry Creek at this place, ""Antoine Du Chez"". He gave me his card to come in some time. I did tell him that I was already getting my cut by this girl. He told me he wasn't wanting to steal me away from her, but just wanted to see if I would like what he could do with my hair and that if I did I could go back to my stylist and just have her fallow the waty it was cut. I figured, ""I'm a guy, what could he do to change my looks and make me look better?"" Pros: open 7 adys a week Cons: Nam only works five days a week more

Love the employees 2/6/2007

The spa was amazing I hope that anyone looking for a relaxing experience and talented employees goes there!! They were friendly knowlegable and experienced. If you go in with a good attitude you will leave with an even better one. Pros: great staff Cons: never wanting to leave more

Services are fine, staff is NOT 7/10/2006

I was given a gift certificate to this spa for a massage. When I called to make the appointment I was told I got a complimentary foot soak beforehand and a shampoo and style afterwards. Sweet! Too bad when I got there the front desk girl was too busy trying to look hot than to offer to set up my foot soak. My massage was great, very nice massage therapist, but as soon as I was back in the salon area, I was totally snubbed again. After 20 minutes of being totally ignored, waiting for my shampoo (while 8 - yes 8 - employees gossiped with each other) I decided to just forget the shampoo and style and go. It took another 20 minutes for the girl to check me out, she couldn't figure out how to use my gift certificate. Parking is also a pain. (I went to the Cherry Creek location) more

Wax w/ Jenna at The Spa @ Cherry Creek 5/10/2006

I recently had a bikini and brow wax w/ Jenna at The Spa @ Cherry Creek and I will return to her regularly. I loved my waxing and even the bikini went quickly and painlessly. In addition, she was very friendly....talking and making me comfortable. In the past, I've gone home and needed to clean up my eyebrows after just being waxed, but she is very thorough. I have not had other services here yet, but for waxing she's wonderful! Pros: Friendly, skilled technician, nice environment Cons: parking more

I had a wonderful experience 2/21/2006

I had a gift card that I used at the Flatirons location. From the moment I walked in I felt warm and relaxed. I had the Tranquility Massage and a haircut. It was a very soothing environment , the staff was well trained and very accomodating. I never had to wait long and for the short time I did wait for my next service it was in a welcoming and comfortable ,secluded and low key waiting area. The masseuse and my hair stylist were both excellent and very professional and seemed to enjoy their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will go back there again. Pros: location, great staff, ambience more

Need a wax, go to Betsy 6/7/2005

I have not done a lot of staff at the place, and they just moved to a bigger facility. But they have a great wax specialist, I can tell you that for sure, I go to Betsy most all the time, but when not there, and you really need something done, go to Valerie. They both great! And prices very reasonable for 'Cherry Greek' area Cons: Parking more
