The entire process was smooth.\r \r Made an appointment for an estimate and to discuss options. I needed two blinds to block out the brutal summer sun on the french doors in the kitchen.\r \r I was looking for;\r \r *blinds that will block out the sun but still be transparent.\r *blinds that esthetically look great.\r *blinds that are affordable.\r \r All these have exceeded my expectations. The customer service by Shellagh was very professional and she didn't try to ""over sell"" service. She worked within our budget and the blinds were installed by a professional installer.\r \r The blinds look great! They have a very good warranty.\r \r You really get what you pay for. We had blinds installed in our recently remodeled and new-to-us home. We worked with Michelle, who turned out to be our neighbor down the street! From my initial call for a consultation to installation was a matter of a month, maybe 5 weeks. Some places wouldn't even come for a consultation for a couple of weeks. Michelle came by within a few days.\r \r We had Hunter Douglas honeycomb blinds installed in our basement and 4 bedrooms. The overall cost seemed steep but they are custom blinds, a quality brand with a good warranty and Budget Blinds' bid was about 15% cheaper than Costco...not to mention their customer service was 100% better!\r \r We live in an older home so the windows aren't truly straight, which I think makes sizing blinds difficult. But they did a wonderful job and the installation was done well and fast! Very impressed. We haven't noticed any problems with the blinds not drawing properly because of the true-ness of the windows and when the blinds are down, they really seem to block out the windows evenly despite the sizing issues.\r \r My only complaint was that the installer had walked into our home with muddy shoes and left a significant footprint on our new cream colored rug. I made sure Michelle was aware of the situation and they apologized for it and said they would speak with the installer.\r \r We did have some problems with some of the blinds where the top-down action was not level. A quick call and they were out to repair it within a day or two with no questions asked.\r \r Will definitely recommend them and use them again in the future! When I moved into my new condo in 2013, one of the first projects was to get blinds due to the amount of windows, and from talking to other residents in the building, the recommendation was to go with window coverings that would open from the top as well as from the bottom; in addition, I didn't want all those annoying cords on the floor which could cause a tripping hazard. Here came Budget Blinds and Richard to the rescue with these Hunter Douglas window coverings and OK, I give the honest truth, they are more expensive than some would pay for blinds but these blinds are worth the price and where Richard was very helpful is that he put the lesser expensive blinds in the bedrooms (where you don't really have an issue with the cords laying on the floor) so I saved money there.\r \r Richard was extremely patient and was not pushy and took the time to show me various styles of blinds and which styles would work in the living area vs. my office vs. the bedrooms. There were so many choices, Richard came out to me at least three times and even let me come out to his warehouse to look. With all the time he gave to me, it would have been ridiculous to go with anyone else, right? Budget Blinds and Richard really did provide the best product-with light producing blinds in the living area, yet light reducing blinds in the office to blackout blinds in the bedrooms, Richard and Budget Blinds gives you quality, not just with the products but with the service. more

Did a great job, very professional lady, I would use them again. They took away the old blinds and the new ones where the French blinds, where they lower from the top or they can raise from the bottom. more

Richard came by to give us an estimate with in days of my initial phone call and the first thing he wanted to know was what we envisioned from our window treatments.
