My girlfriends and I went to Brooklyn on a Saturday night. We did not make reservations, because their website states that they do not take reservations for small parties. When one of my friends got there, the host sat her at a table and told her we would have to move at 10, because it was reserved at that time. When we got there, we told the host that we wanted to stay past 10 and asked if there was another table where we could sit and stay later. He told us that he did have a table, so we moved there. At a few minutes before 10, one of the people in our party asked for her check. The waitress brought all of our checks. When we asked the her if we needed to pay and start a new tab, she told us that the host had told her to bring all of our checks because our table was reserved at 10. He told us that there was another seating at 10. However, no one else around us was asked to leave their talbes. We asked to have him come over, and he told us we had to get up. We asked to speak with the owner. We told him our story, and he, too, told us we had to get up. We sat there and finished our drinks. The host came by and told us that the people who had reserved the table were there, and we needed to get up. We got up and stood against the wall for another 30 minutes before anyone came to sit at the table. Every other table in the restaurant had a reserved sign, except the one we were sitting at. My friends and I each spent $40-50 and were going to continue to drink, spending even more than that. The host was rude, and the owner was even more rude. As we left, I said to the host, ""Thank you for ruining the only girls' night out we have had in 2 years."" To which he replied, ""You're welcome.""
