Bright Now! Dental

This place is so wrong!! to add to the previous reviewers list above,\r 1) The hygienist literally FELL ASLEEP during my daughters tooth cleaning. The dentist berated her in front of my daughter and left the room without completing his exam.\r 2)They wouldn't let me go in to sit in the room with my 8 year old son while he had his cleaning done despite his obvious anxiety. (huge red flag)\r 3)They attempted to charge us 200$ more for a root canal than our insurance company had stated was allowable and only agreed to reduce the charges after we put our insurance agent on the phone in the lobby on speakerphone to tell them their error. \r 4) They refuse to clean the teeth of my children with braces unless their orthodontist removes the back brackets, despite the orthodontist telling them multiple times that this is not necessary and to ""clean around them""\r \r I am so sorry that this is our required dental provider for the year! I guess we will just have to brush and floss really well and hope for the best. There is NO way we will be returning to this office to be subjected to this level of unprofessional service and poor dental treatment. more

Your staff was very understanding of my anxiety and fear of the dentist. They made me very comfortable and made the appointments easy to go through. Thank you very much for treating me with such kindness. more

I am so happy to have found Bright Now Dental. Both dentists I have seen really knew their stuff - talking about research, best practice, the latest journal article they read - and they took good care of my mouth. The assistants have been very kind, and quite knowledgeable. The office people do a wonderful job - they take their time to explain exactly what I need to know and answer all my questions. And the prices are much more affordable than anywhere else around here. Thanks!! more

I was a little nervous about having my root canal today but the dentist and her assistant were so good, explained everything I needed to know and treated me with great kindness and made me much more comfortable. I would have no problem letting them perform another one. (Even though I hopefully never have to have another one.)I thank them both and for there professionalism and a great job. Thank-you! more

Right when i got there i noticed everything was clean and tidy. It was my first time. i knew i was going to have to take x-rays. It wasnt so bad, the assistant was very pleasent. The doctor came in and examed my teeth, like normal, nothing to exciting. man dental work is pricey more

Soooo I went to Bright Now Dental for my first initial visit. I have heard horror stories about people getting charged more than what they were told. I got everything checked and they told me that I need a deep cleaning. I asked, ""How much does that cost?"". They said, ""It goes by quadrant and it's $250. per quadrant"". I go out to the lobby to wait for them to print out the list of things I need done and the price for everything. But it doesn't say $250 per quadrant. It says $343!! Sure I only have to pay $100 per quadrant but I want to know why such a different ammount. First they try to tell me that it's different for people without insurance..So I'm like..so you charge more for people without? Why the discrimination? Then they say they don't charge that ammount to the insurance..Then I say then why does it say this ammount? Then they say that it's an estamate..Then I say..so it's like you charge whatever you're in the mood for? The lady that told me the price originally told me to go somewhere else and walked off and put both her fingers to her head like guns and acted like she pulled the trigger. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!! more

My husband has had the worse experience at Bright Now! Dental. He had a root canal done and a crown put in. First the temporary crown fell out couple hours later, then when they finally put in a permanent crown, he's had excruciating pain, his gums got all swollen up to the point he can't even touch them, he's been there at least 4 times already and they still can't get it right. And to make things worse, the doctor says it's the lab's fault for making the crown too big, their office manager keeps saying that it's because his bite is number 3. Just a horrible experience, would never recommend it to anyone. more

I have had a frustrating experience with this office. Is it just me? I made an appointment as a new patient for a cleaning. They said they had to do an entire set of x-rays, which took 45 minutes. Then, the dentist came in and discussed my films. The cleaning never got done. I was completely bewildered. They also recommended 4 other procedures,although they raved at how great my teeth looked. Of course,none of the procedures they recommended were covered by insurance and all cost several hundred dollars out of pocket. All I wanted was a cleaning. Then, 6 months later, I called back, hoping to schedule a cleaning. They told me that they had to do another set of x-rays because it had been more than 6 months! I asked the receptionist about 5 times if they would just do a cleaning. She refused each time. Recently, I also scheduled a cleaning for my husband. I asked the receptionist if they would do a cleaning, and she confirmed they would. It was only when i pressed, that she told me that they would never schedule a cleaning on the same day as taking x-rays. So, they are not telling the customers the truth. Just as I expected, they took x-rays for my husband and then recommended a deep clean, which would cost 400 dollars. He just wanted a regular cleaning. Is this how dental practices operate nowadays? This seems like a fleece operation. I don't understand the lack of customer service at this office. more

this is the worst dental experience i have ever had and i wasn't evern the patient! i was taking my 9yr old in for a swollen cheek that we thought might be an absesed tooth. first of all the reception was a little busy talking among themselves. the speakers for the alternative radio station flanked you on the counter when you stood waiting for the ladies to notice you, it was so loud i had to turn them away just to hear. the x-ray tech was great and patient with my son...but the actual dentist! wow, if there was any way for her to spend less time actually looking at my son, i would be surprised! she flitered in, flitered out, refered us to a oral surgan who, by the way, ""isn't good with children"" says the oral surgeons receptionist. NICE. more

I have been in for check up/cleanings 3 times now. I have never once had a bad experience. Infact, I have had outstanding experiences. The hygienists do a great job in educating and coaching me about proper gum and teeth care. The staff at the front desk has been very friendly and has really taken the time to explain the needed dental plan and inform me about my insurance and responsible balances. When I showed up for my appointment, they said I was 10 mintutes late when I thought I was 15 minutes early. They made me reschedule the appointment. When I returned, they told me the Dr. had an office meeting and wouldn't be able to see me for my appointment. When I asked why they hadn't contacted me they said they didn't have my phone number. Funny, since they called me the day earlier to confirm my appointment. Save yourself the drive and go somewhere else. Cons: poor customer service skills and organization more

I noticed the other review gave a negative because of the desk help there. They made a poor choice with the receptionist and office help there a while ago, but it seems to have changed and I had a much better experience with them lately. The dentist was great, very nice, friendly and so were the other assistants, and that is the most important part. I had a terrible experience with the administrative process at this dentist's office! The staff failed to do a thorough insurance check, admitted that fact when challenged, and still refused to waive - or even to adjust at all - the resulting bill. They preferred to lose a whole family of customers rather than make it right. All of this over a bill for less than $100! They clearly don't value their customers, and their sloppy work came out of my pocket. Stay away, extra union benefits or not!! more
