My husband and I have been going to Brassfields Salon for a few years. My husband bought a package of several haircuts. He always booked his appointment weeks ahead, and was always on time. His hair stylist, was NEVER on time(not just not on time, but NOT in the building). And when my husband complained he was nicknamed ""the mean man"" by the front desk. Because we liked the stylist we continued to use him, until enough, was enough. The front desk women were very rude to my husband. We also have schedules to keep. My husband no longer wanted to go there. I switched stylist, and was happy until I needed my bangs trimmed. I called and set up a time, and when I arrived for my appointment, I was told to take a seat. After about 10-15 minutes, I was called to the desk for a correct spelling of my name ect, and told that I wasn't on the books. I said I had called earlier that day and was given a time to come in ( I didn't make up my own time). I was told to take a seat again, after waiting what seemed an eternity, was told that because I didn't have an appointment, that they couldn't cut my bangs until late that day. The thing is they don't make appointments to get a bang trim. I was very upset, because they kept saying I didn't call, nor did I have an appointment. I walked out, very upset. I later called, and Tiffani, the same gal that set my trim time answered the phone. My biggest problem was that she sat there and listened while the other gal said I didn't have an appointment, and didn't say oh gosh I am sorry I did over book, or something to that nature. I was basically, called a liar. I was told by the stylist, that I could call and come in for free mid-haircut bang trims (I have always tipped well). Besides me having to go to a walk-in hair salon, the stylist also loses. During this hard economy, which I talked with the stylist about when I got my haircut, one would think that the front desk would be stellar.
We are now looking for another salon.
Cons: Very Poor front desk service
