Too Good To Be True 3/12/2008

Boston Quality Movers are the best! I initially called for pricing, not only did they give me the price it actually came out to be in the end, but they also asked a lot of questions. They asked about what items would be moved and if i had a preference on what got to the new house first. Throughout the move they kept me updated on what was being moved and when. Anytime i called with a question i received top notch customer service. This was an overall great experience. I don't anticipate moving again but if i do, it's no-brainer that I will certainly call Boston Quality Movers. Keep up the good work! Pros: pricing, efficiency, customer service more

I must tell you I was reluctant to hire BQM...but.. 2/22/2008

I must tell you I was reluctant to hire BQM since my first mover did not show and did not cancel the service. However I was pleasantly surprised when they showed up and started working so quickly, they were like lightning......they did not waste any time; it was all business for them. I was amazed to see how hard working and quick they were. They even helped with setting up the furniture exactly where I wanted it as well as placing the appropriate boxes in the kitchen, living room and bedroom to better accomodate me when opening them. I would recommend Boston Quality Movers to a friend in the future! more

Excellent service, excellent price 1/22/2008

Juan and his team arrived on time and did what would have taken my friends and I all day and all night in just a few hours. We were amazed at how hard and quickly the team worked and everyone was very freindly and pleasant. We're still opening up boxes but everything so far has been in great shape. We got an estimate from a popular moving company that wanted to charge 3 times as much! Sometimes the old adage "you get what you paid for" is not true. We got top notch service and I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to everyone I know who needs a mover. Pros: Very pleasant and professional team Cons: none! more

watch out! 1/20/2008

I used Boston Quality Movers recently, and I was overcharged $50. The person I contact was Steve. His trick was first give me a quote with a price lower than companies, then right before my move, he gave me a new quote with a higher price based on a larger volume estimation with an excuse that they would do adjustment according to the real volume they shipped. Then I would have to give them down payment according to this price. On the moving day, they came and packed my stuff into the truck. This should be a good time to check the actual volume, however, I was told that they never did it, and I was charged according to the new quote, i.e., the higher price based on the estimated volume. At this moment, practically I had no time to find another company immediately, so I had to pay according to the higher price. Please watch out if you want to use Boston Quality Movers, you might be charged much more than the quote appears. They have many tricks!!! I have records and photos showing t more

My family moved from Boston to Houston. We have 3 children and lots of toys!! BQ movers sent a sales person to our home to estimate the cost and details of our move. The day of the pick-up we were scrambling to finish packing and get organized. The movers were on time and even called us 30 minutes prior to arrival. They disassembled some of our furniture, wrapped and secured the fragile pieces and even packed what we were unable to finish packing. They promised us delivery within 3 weeks and a phone call 24 hours prior to the delivery. We received our belongings 2 weeks after the pick-up. There was nothing missing and nothing damaged. Also, we kept in touch with our sales person who would give us updates on the delivery. We were very happy with our move and highly recommend Boston Quality Movers. more

3 Moves - All great! 5/14/2007

We've had 3 moves in the last year and used BQ Movers for all of them. Although our moves were small and local, each one went smoothly and at cost. The movers were easy to work with and were accomadating about everything. They arrived on time and moved quickly. Their pricing is very competitive. It does change by season but still remains competitive. I would highly recommend these guys. more
