I've been to this place twice - once at dance club time and once at restaurant time - and was underimpressed with both.
Let's start with the dance club:
I don't know where the bouncers think they're from, but if it's Columbus, that's an insult to Columbus. They were rude to everyone I know who has been to this club. They even told one guy that he was "dressed a little too hip hop," but that he'd let him in this time. He didn't even specify no sneakers, no hats, no baggy shirts...
Oh thanks well in return, I think you look a little too ethnocentric and stuck up, but we'll come in and buy some drinks anyway.
Then inside the bar, there was boring pop music playing and the art was ok but there wasn't anything grabbing my attention. I will give them this: the cover isn't bad if you go before midnight, the rest of the interior was pretty cool (there were three different bars, a big dance floor, pretty furniture) and they have some good drinks that weren't badly priced.
Then, on Valentine's Day, I made the mistake of eating at their restaurant, where, for this special occasion, you couldn't order from the regular menu, but instead had to get their special four course meal at 75 bucks a pop. They never told us this when we were making reservations, and acted as if we shouldn't be surprised when we got there.
The food was fancy, but not 75 dollars worth of fancy, and I've eaten at the Peppercorn Duck Club (when that still existed), Bexley Monk, Haiku, Dragonfly, etc, all of which I would give good reviews. THEN, the kitchen messed up our order and we ended up staying there 3 hours.
So, what I gather is it's an OK dance club that could be great if it found better music, dressed up the interior a little more, and fired or at least retrained its bouncers; a lousy restaurant; and overall a place that's trying harder to be exlusive and snobby than it's trying to be a good source of food, atmosphere, and entertainment.
Pros: food and drinks, interior
Cons: rude staff, price
