Bogie's Billiards & Games

I've been a regular at Bogies for years now. Before Bogies I played at places like Barneys. I fell in love with Bogies the first time I played on their tables. They refurbish the tables often, replacing felt and repairing rails, it's always clean in there and the staff is always friendly and attentive. There are numerous 8 ft. tables which cost $4 an hour per person, which is cheaper than $10 an hour for unlimited players if you are playing by yourself or just with a friend, they have five 9 ft. tables which are well kept, however lots of traffic wears them down before the cloth change, and they have one Snooker table, which is awesome. It's, I believe, the last snooker table in Houston. There are also several tournaments run throughout the week. Thursday nights are the good ones! $200 added $5 entry! more

Bogie's is a nice pool hall. They have snooker tables and eight and nine foot billiards tables which is really nice. They also have something like 50 tables so it rarely is ever jam packed enough that you have to wait for a table. The downside is that tables cost four or five dollars per person per hour which I think is a little steep for the area. There are cheaper rates else where. more
