Found this spot online and have been coming back several times. Everything is really fresh. Desserts are homemade. Yum-yum! Smoked fish is perfect. Salads, sandwiches; all great. ...

If you care about your health and if you give a damn about your hard earned money DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I will start by saying that I live in Aventura. I heard about this restaurant on "Diner's, Drive-in and Dives". Guy Fieri is a liar! On APRIL 20, 2012 I went with my family who were in town from New York and figured this spot would be a good and fun place to visit for the first time together. The place looks run down. The food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered the fish dip (which I saw on tv) smoked fish sampler and the fried conch. Gross, smelly, disgusting and made me sick. The health department needs to visit this place. As a meal we ordered 2 lobster burgers and 2 fish tacos. The lobster burgers were tasteless, no discernible trace of lobster and had the consistency of cat food. The gross fish tacos weren't even freaking tacos. They were mushy pita breads with nasty globs of God knows what. The after taste had to be the worst and the throwing up at home must have been the food poison of the gross fish dip. There were no napkins and the water bottles smelled like fish. There was a stray cat (missing an eye ball) lingering around and joined us for lunch. The employees and so called manager didn't seem to mind that the flea filled cat was disrupting our meal. My newborn son and I got bit by fleas while we had THE WORST MEAL of our lives. If I could tell you that there was at least one good item on the menu I'd tell you but NO the meals were accompanied by bagged potato chips (the gross cheap lays kind) and our total bill was $88 (plus $2 tip which we never tip under 20% but in this case yikers!!!!!!!!! ) Overpriced, disgusting and paid to get sick. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! more

I was very excited to try this because of the Diners Drive Ins and Dives but this place is not worth the trip. There was no taste to the smoked fish and the texure was not all that. The fish dip was decent but i would never make a trip just for that. My advice save your money and find a better place! more

Found this spot online and have been coming back several times. Everything is really fresh. Desserts are homemade. Yum-yum! Smoked fish is perfect. Salads, sandwiches; all great. DJ and his mom and his wife all go out of their way to make it a great experience. He's an excellent chef who's worked with some of the top chefs in Miami. This is a cute little place outside that's cozy and friendly. Don't miss it! Pros: fresh, clean, delicious, friendly, unique more

My boyfriend and I went today for lunch and found that the fish was ice cold, super over priced and took well over an hour to get to get to us. Will not be going back! more

We ate here in late 2007. We found the fish a bit dry, and the service was a bit lacking. Fast forward to June 2008. We were warmly greeted by the owners of the restaurant, who told us they recently bought the establishment and were making some much needed changes. The menu is much more extensive, and they serve much more than smoked fish. To make a true comparison, I ordered the smoked marlin sandwich. It was moist (not like the dry fish I had last year), and served with chips and a nice cole slaw. My husband had the brisket sandwich which he enjoyed as well. Service was very friendly, and there was live music as well. Definitely a nice spot for a good meal with a nice view, not to mention a good value! The restaurant is also very dog friendly. The owners said they will be adding more the menu soon, like having fish fries on weekends. We will return! more
