STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!\r \r This has got to be the absolute worst service provider I have ever dealt with in the course of renovations -- and I have renovated a number of houses and apartments. It's almost as if they sit around trying to figure out how to deliver the WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE IMAGINABLE. This company represents information failure -- there is simply no reason for its continued existence. And its workers should either get out of any line of work that ever requires interaction with a customer or go through serious re-training. \r \r What is just awful is that both IKEA and its general contractor, Signature Services, know that BLOCKTOPS is AWFUL. In fact, they both told me that they don't like dealing with BLOCKTOPS at all.\r more

Shame on Block Tops, Inc. Block Tops takes advantage of their employees and exploits them. A Union is currently attempting to form to prohibit this company from abusing their employees. Since then they unlawfully laid off employees and are attempting to persuade the rest their employees to vote No on a Union, which is illegal! Block Tops should be aware that happy employess produce happier clients and better business. more

Being single I was a little unsure of using Home Depot because of having to get my own plumber, them getting Block Tops etc. Block Tops called immediately but the girl that left her number and extension would not return my calls. Once I called the installation department direct I got excellent service and professionalism all the way. The men that came to get the template knew what they were doing and explained everything to me in detail. The day of the installation themen that came were also very professional and worked very hard (and I live upstairs) It was a small kitchen which made it a bigger job. They protected my floors and cabinets and paid close attention to the details and finishes at the end. Most importantly my countertops are beautiful! more

These folks did a really great job on my new granite counter tops. They were the sub for Home Depot. The man who came to measure and create the templates was really helpful advising on ways to do the backsplash and garden window, too. The installers were great; worked their tails off ans took special care with that difficult and crooked garden window. :-) more
