Blakely was recently asked to give an estimate for furnace repairs in a house we were selling. He told the prospective buyer that the entire unit needed to be replaced at a cost of more than $3500 not including the A-coil which he also said needed to be replaced. We called in a second company and found that the furnace needed minor cleaning and repair but nothing as extensive as Blakely claimed. The prospective buyer was convinced that it was faulty, however, and in order to finalize the sale we will probably have to replace a perfectly good (albeit older) furnace. Be sure and get a second opinion before hiring this company!
