The deal that the travel agent provided was nothing special. I would get the same thing if I booked everything myself but I decided that since we are traveling with a large group it is better to book the trip with one person.
Overall, it was all very unprofessional and it is easier to book everything yourself where you get all the tickets sent electronically.
I was unhappy that the agent never called to confirm ahead of time when the credit card would be charged (I was told it would be 45 days before we leave but it was in fact a week earlier and very unexpected). When I complained he seemed it was fine to blame it on the amount of people going in our group; he simply forgot about us.
Picking up the tickets was even more troublesome. I sent an email asking for hours and location of the office, I was only told the hours. I found the location myself, since it seemed it was easier than waiting for another response. When I finally had a free day to pick up the tickets I was surprised with an early closing due to the upcoming holidays. I'd like to point out that it was not an official holiday, so there was no way of knowing that the office would close 4 hours earlier.
