Granted it is probably more the airline traveled than the airport that makes it work, but Bishop works for me. The parking is quick in the economy lot across the street. Two to three shuttle buses are usually running to get you from the lot back to the airport or the other way around. Rarely is there a line to check in and check baggage, rarely is there a line at security, and often the flight is ready to board early. There isn't much in the way of food (small snack shop, newsstand, and bar type area), but there is not really any need to spend much time here. It simply is a pleasant and easy airport to fly out of or into.
