Yogagroove has 3 brand new massage rooms with 4 fabulous massage therapists on staff, practicing a wide variety diverse techniques. It is especially wonderful to help work out the kinks post yoga practice when your muscles are all warmed up, keeping the lactic acid from settling into soreness.
I recently received a massage from James after I had woken up earlier that morning with a pinched nerve in the back of my left shoulder blade making certain postures in my yoga practice quite painful. I take ballet in the evenings and was worried that i would not be able to go that evening because lifting my left arm with any sort of head tilt was excruciating. My cabre back on the left side was still a little painful but nothing like when I awoke that morning. James has a tender but assured touch. It felt more like rollers kneading into my back and neck than hands. He utilizes all parts of his arms, finger tips to elbow, in a flow that is very relaxing and rythmic.
I would recommend all of their massage therapists, as well as, recommending the studio for your yoga practice.
When I first starting attending the studio 2 yrs ago I was surrounded by a room full of strangers and now it is a room full of friends. A variety of ages, backgrounds, fitness levels and they all come together for an hour and a half to help guide and push each other through one of the most difficult workouts/ active meditations that I have ever experienced.
Thank you.
