This is a well merchandised electronics store. Employees are helpful but somewhat hard to find at times. Sale prices are average. Good central location with easy access off street.

BEST BUY isThe BIGGEST RIP OFF RETAILER in AMERICA, I HAVE BOUGHT TV'S, DESKTOP AND LAPTOPS. every time I BUY something I think I will never go BACK!! BUT I go there AND I LIKE a dummy, I likeTHE PRODUCT AND I buy it, BBBBUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTT, I buy the WARRANTY AND THEY COULD CARE LESS AFTER YOU BUY IT!!!! I JUST got THE GEEK SQUAD WARRANTY AND I BE DAMN IF I TAKE A PRODUCT THERE TO GET UPLOADED LIKE THE GEEK WARRANTY SAYS AND NOW THEY SAY THEY CANT LOAD FROM THE STORE INTERNET?? WHAT THE HELL. TELL TO DO IT AT HOME AND SHOULD WORK IF NOT CALL TECH SUPPORT. I DID AND THEIR ANSWER WAS TO CALL TECH SUPPORT, I SAID I DID, THEY SAID " OH YEA THATS RIGHT". WHAT ARE THEY SMOKING?? THIS PLACE HAS DONE ME IN FOR THE 3RD TIME. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THERE WARRANTIES, IT IS USELESS AND EXPENSIVE!!!!!!! I HEADING BACK OVER AND SPEAKING TO A MANAGER, USELESS AGAIN I KNOW BUT GIVE ME A BREAK. GAS IS $4.20 A GALLON AND THIS IS VERY DISCOURAGING!!! more

Worst Buy 3/21/2010

Mistake #1: So I decided to buy a new laptop and unfortunately went to Best Buy to look around. I actually found one that had all the specs I was looking for and even had a price that couldn't be substantially beaten online (aside from sales tax of course) \r Mistake #2: I told a sales associate (or worthless guy who sucks at his only job of helping SELL things) that I wanted this (pointing to a display model) \r Mistake #3: Sales associate brings laptop to counter, and I find out its $100 cheaper than listed. I looked at him puzzled, and actually asked why it was cheaper. He told me it was a sales price that just started that day. Great, the computer I wanted for far cheaper than online...maybe there is something to buying things in a brick and mortar store. \r \r So I get home open up the box and much to my amazement it's NOT THE RIGHT MODEL. It's the smaller screen and the Intel i3 processor instead of the i5 I was looking for. \r \r In anger, I of course take the laptop back to the store more

Avoid the Best Buy Geeks!!! 9/10/2009

My computer wouldn't power up so i took it to the Best Buy "geeks"--it was late and best buy was still open. The tech looked at my computer, checked the connections, then concluded that the motherboard was fried. I asked him to check the power supply--he did, I think--and he said that the power supply was fine. I took it somewhere else and found out that the power supply (not the motherboard) needed to be replaced. This fix cost me $40. Best Buy and their geek squad have definitely earned the negative press they've received. more

Best Buy Somewhere Else 7/21/2008

Ridiculously high prices for merchandise of mediocre quality. Everything they sell can be bought online for (generally) half the price or less, including shipping. Store personal are eager to help but often condescending until you prove you know what you're talking about. more

HORRIBLE PLACE!! STAY AWAY FROM BEST BUY!!! 2/17/2008

I got DSL and I was told that I needed a network card. So, I called Best Buy to see if they could look at it and see if I have a network card in the computer. They said to bring it in and they could look at it and see. I took it into the store and I was told to wait until a tech could look at it. I waited for 45 min and then they told me that it needed a network card and I had to leave it. So I left it so they could install one. I called every other day for the next week to see if it was done. Finally 8 days later they called and said it was done. I went to pick it up and they charged $100 to put the network card in. I thought it was high but I don?t know a lot about computer so I paid it. I took it home and it started locking up so I called Best Buy and they said they would send a guy out to look at it. A guy came out and said he didn?t know what the problem was and I needed to take it back into the store. So that day I took it into the store and they told me they would call when more
