I have been going to Dr. Berkin for over 25 years. My wife and kids go there as well. I can say he is by far one of the best dentist in the city. He has a great personal staff and does all of the work himself unlike many others who don't even have time to see you. He will give you as much time as you need and is always looking to find the best option for his patient even if it is the cheapest option. Most dentists don't ever offer you a cheaper route to deal with a problem, but Dr. Berkin will always tell you the options that you have. You are always able to get in touch with him and he conducts his practice like a real dental professional, always with the patient's best interest in mind not like some sly businessman. He has some of the cheapest prices in town and accepts most insurance as well. more

I originally liked Dr. Berkin. He is friendy and his staff is friendly. He gets you in super fast and even does the cleanings himself. However, it was a misconception. He failed to refill the right tooth, which lead the other tooth to decay more and chip. Now, I may have to get a root canal on the tooth. His procedures are extremely painful. I had 3 shots to numb my gum. My mouth was black and blue. My lip is still numb on an off. Moreover, whatever he uses is not very strong, because you will feel extreme nerve pain, when he fixes the tooth. Just recently he missed 5 cavities at my last visit and he didn't even X-ray me. I don't recall him X-raying me very often. All of this is extremely upseting, because I take good care of my teeth!!! Pros: Friendly, gets you in fast, hardly any wait, does cleanings Cons: Painful, Misses Cavities, Fills wrong teeth, Few X-rays more

this guy did a filling on my tooth so bad that i got an infection, and had to have it fixed while getting my wisdom teeth out, which ment more needles for numbing and more pain!! plus his dental assistant didn't seem to know anything about dentistry and was very clueless when i went in for simple cleaning.. also have had 2 other dentists question the quality of the filling as well. and he also said i had more cavities to fill which was a lie as 2 other dentists said i had no more cavities.. avoid him at all costs.. I LOVE Dr. Berkin! He is very gentle and extremely thorough. I have referred several people to Dr. Berkin, including my husband and my mother. more
