I'm so happy I took my car here. The staff was very proffesional and friendly.\r The the repairs done to my car was accurate and it is driving a lot better than before.\r It is a very clean and modren shop. Compared to dealer it costed a lot less as well.\r Most important they emplain everthing to me before performing any repairs.\r I am totally going back to Benz By Blair when it's time for the next service & will recommend all my friends and family to them. more

I've been using Benz by Blair for two years now for my late model Mercedes C-Class. Not only has BbyB performed all regular maintenance at prices much lower than the Mercedes dealers, they have saved me $100's of dollars in repairing normal wear and tear items on my car like scratches and dings, keeping my car looking and feeling like it was just purchased. So if you don't want to make a claim to your insurance for these smaller items, go to Benz by Blair and they will save you money if it's possible. BbyB was also able to get a genuine part for half the dealer price. I couldn't believe it. I don't know if they can do this every time, but I do have comfort knowing they will try. more

I fell into the trap of using this shop based on cheaper prices and an outdated reputation based on old owners. Blair does not own this shop anymore and since he sold it to the new set of owners, all mb techs have left and been replaced with less than professional mechanics. I had an e55 amg with considerable work done to the engine and supercharger. after only 60 miles, belts broke, pulleys shredded and all because they used non mercedes parts that did not fit properly. They even screwed up a simple oil change by not draining the front pan and allowing it to overfill. when I complained about the warning I was getting, they simply said 'oh that must be the sensor' ""600 dollars please!"" Upon utilizing a proper mercedes service shop, it became clear to me that benz by blair is nothing more than a two bit clunker mechanic shop. if you want to be lied to, fraudulently billed and taken advantage of then by all means ask for sam or paul at benz by blair. Don't be fooled by any credibility this shop still maintains by its old owners. They are not the same shop, they have no business working on cars at all, let alone a highly engineered piece of machinery such as a mercedes. We had the WORST experience with these people, I would never ever recommend going to them. Not only did they do repairs that 2 other Mercedes shop's said we didn't need (they had already done them) but then after they had it for 5 weeks, and after we paid over $4000 to them the car breaks down for the things they were supposed to have fixed! They changed our oil, and now the oil sensor is malfunctioning (never a problem before) then they said that they didn't do it, but we could pay them $600 to replace sensor (yeah right). Did I mention we have moved to Austin, so they said we couldn't take it to another garage because they wouldn't cover anything the other garage said they did (like I trust them). So we didn't take it to another garage and were going to take it back to them the next time we were in houston and then, BAM, our entire car shuts down and claims battery and gateway issues (two things they replaced). I REFUSE to have them look at this car, as I don't trust them at all, they will say they didn't break it when I know they did (did I mention neither one of these things needed to be replaced, but they did it anyways and now they have broken down). They would have to pay to tow this car back to Houston and then once fixed (which I don't trust them to do) would have to pay it get it towed back to here. I'm going to a Mercedes dealership on monday and sending them the bill, I've already spoken with an attorney regarding the matter and I am well within my rights (compare it to seeing a Dr. for surgery that screws up, you are more then welcome in that situation to see another Dr for a second opinion). Oh and although they say they are cheaper then anywhere else labor wise, what they don't tell you is that they charge a diagnostic fee (yes, seems funny considering all cars are run on computers now) that starts at $88 and they can just say whatever they want and add it on to your bill, even though the computer tells them in 5 seconds what is wrong if anything. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, SCAM ARTISTS, WE WILL PROBABLY BE SUING THEM FOR RUINING OUR E55 AMG Cons: Make up work, hidden charges at huge costs, didn't fix more

I went there to see what was going on with my mercedes because whenever i braked my steering wheel shook or vibrated... They immediately ran their tests and in less than 10 min came back and told me what i needed. I went to Mercedes dealership first and they told me the exact same thing but in an hour and the dealership prices were twice as much as theirs... I haven't had any problems with my car since. I always go to Benz By Blair to get my monthly maintenance for a cheaper, faster and i believe more reliable way than the Mercedes dealership.
