Awesome Find [in this place] 10/19/2010

What a find I feel I've discovered by way of purchasing a Groupon for a facial at Beauty & Beyond! It's location is great for working downtown and the 'customized' treatment according to information relayed on a short, comprehensive questionnaire made all the difference in getting the right products applied according to my specific skin needs. This tranquil setting was inside what appeared from the street as someone's home. Loved the radiant, clean and refreshed feeling of tighter skin from the anti-age mask that completed my session. No pressure of extra sales were applied when checking out; only a nice, relaxed attitude was all mine when I returned to work from taking this little respite during my lunch hour. Although I didn't make another appointment at the time, I proclaimed that I'd definitely be back again! I am quite pleased with my experience and would absolutely recommend to anyone whether it be their first-time or if they're looking for another option for comparative purposes. It's always nice to occasionally check out what other salons are doing. more

Best Spa 10/18/2010

I found this lovely establishment via Groupon and I am so glad that I did. Having your legs waxed is never fun, but Vaishali does the best job ever. She and I were chatting and it was so helpful. It is funny how someone carring on a converstion can distract how painful it really was. She is the only person I have ever returned to more than once. Vaishali is definitely worth visiting. more

AMAZING facial 10/11/2010

I found this lovely establishment via Groupon. I have had several facials in my life? but this one? I mean I was just blown away by the service and the knowledge. Vaishali DeVas the owner did my facial. She was amazing, this reminds me need to reschedule!!! She was open and honest and I told her about how I looked like a pizza face after my last facial. She delivered a fresh and clean face and a very happy client! more

Best Kept Secret in Houston for Threading 10/9/2010

I used to have a great threading place in New York and was looking for something equally as good here. I had gotten recommendations for some places in the Indian area of Houston but I wanted something close to my neighborhood (the Heights/Rice Military). This place was the perfect find. I googled for good threading places online and Beauty and Beyond popped up with very good reviews. I decided to give it a try and see if the reviews were correct and they were. They did an awesome job threading and gave a beautiful natural shape to my brows that was even better than my spot in New York. They also dye eyebrows to match the shade of your hair color if that is something you are interested in also. Anyway, this place is the real deal and excellent for threading. I have not tried the other services but based on my experience so far I am sure they are equally as wonderful! more

Great service! 8/26/2010

I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time EVER at Beauty & Beyond and I also got a facial; I was quite pleased with both services. The aesthetician explained every step of the facial process to me and I loved the soft, smooth, and clean feel of my skin when I left. The facility is not your usual fancy-shmancy spa, but it is quaint and cozy, which makes for a nice ambiance. The customer service was excellent and their prices were reasonable. I am definitely returning in the future. more

Lovely little place near Montrose 6/30/2010

Beauty and Beyond is a cute little house tucked behind huge oak tress and covered in wines, its almost like a Tuscan house in the middle of Houston. The place is comfortable and relaxing. I have been seeing Vaishali for getting my eyebrows done for the past two years and for facials for over an year and she has never let me down. I appreciate their polite staff and great service. If you haven't already visited them, well what are you waiting for?!! Call them like TODAY!! I promise you wont be disappointed. more

Convinient 6/30/2010

Im a busy working woman and i have a crazy schedule.Sometimes i need an appointment on the go and sometimes i REALLY need to cancel.They appreciate it if you let them know a day ahead of time, but otherwise they are really wonderful at cooperating and working with you to help you schedule an appointment. Also, all their estheticians provide remarkable services, whether it be waxing, facials or threading. I love this place! more

Today was my first time visiting Beauty and Beyond and although they were under construction ( they are in the process of adding extra rooms) they were still very helpful and were managing with great expertize. BEST WAXING AND MICRODERMOBRASION EVER!! 6/29/2010

I have been coming to Vashali since 2006 before she was at Beauty and Beyond. I've never had a waxer that has had it hurt so much less than anyone else, and I mean it DOES NOT HURT! I've had waxers before and they have left me w/ burns and contact dermatitis. Pros: VASHALI! Cons: NOTHING! more

Best place in houston!! 6/28/2010

The first time I went to Beauty and Beyond skin care center, was with very little enthusiasm. My past experiences with waxing have left me with bumps and rashes. But when I got my waxing done at Beauty and Beyond, I was amazed to see NO bumps or rashes and the best past was that I didn't feel much pain. Thanks to Beauty and Beyond, waxing is no more a dreadful routine! With summer just around the corner, I would recommend this place to everyone!! more

On repeated request to try this place by my girl friend I booked my Facial at Beauty & Beyond a few days ago. The ambiance is so soothing. Friendly staff and on time service impressed me as soon as I entered this place. It was interesting experience asI had to fill-up a form with all my details and after that the Esthetician did analysis of my skin and told me about the facial that will benefit me the most. During the facial I took a nice nap for almost 30 minutes, no rushing no cheating ... My best facial experience ever ..going back after four weeks. Pros: Excellent setup, very good service and right on time more

Me and my sister have been seeing vaishali for two years now and she has never let us down. She is down to earth and very very good at what she does. This is a place where you wont be disappointed. Serene and professional 3/24/2010

This is a very professional business with many esthetician services. I tried the brow threading as recommended to me by my hair stylist. I will never go back to hot waxing again! It was virtually painess, alot less than waxing, no pulling on delicate eye skin. Within 2 minutes she was done, only a little pink and disipated by the time I drove 15 minutes home. No irritation either since no wax or chemicals are necessary. They offer a very serene environment to de-stress while having services performed. It feels like 'home' so give them a try. Best Facial Experience Ever! 2/25/2010

I just wanted to stop by and leave a comment about my first experience with Beauty & Beyond... compared to some of the other experiences I have had at a few other places for a facial Beauty & Beyond was Truly Exceptional and a Diamond hidden in the heart of the Midtown/Montrose area. I went there a little leary since I had been to a few other places that sadly were not up to these standards...The Staff Here was completely Professional, Extremely Welcoming and Explained everything to me as we went along with each service. DeAnn my facialist was extremely helpful during my facial which was very relaxing after a hard day...she was very thorough with putting me at ease and explained each product and why she was using them on my skin...Loved the neck and shoulder massage I have to tell ya...She even did a few extractions on my face that I didn't feel or even notice when it was all done with. I was so relaxed that when it came time to leave I really didn't want to get up to leave...when I was about to check out the receptionist Emily was very friendly and began telling me about some of the other options for the salon...including threading...which I had not tried until that day...it was virtually painless and only took about 4 mins. for the brows and my upper lip...Thanks Vaishali! I have gotten so many complements...and will Definately Be Back Soon! Pros: Relaxing Environment, Friendly Staff, Love the Music!!! Cons: I had to Wake up and go Home. more

HAD THE BEST DAY EVER 2/25/2010

My husband baught me a giftcertifacat for a day of beauty ,it was the best time i ever had ,Vaishali first started with a microdermebrason,whic left my skin looking good,but then we went to the acual facal it was unbelevable,she gave me an oxygen facal that was to die for.my skin never looked so good in my life.then the most exiting thing i had never had done was eyebrows threated.they are perficat and did not hurt at all.then Deann was up next she gave me a briazilin ,waxed my legs,arms and my arm pits.Oh befor i for get Vashali also threded my face.That was the best valintins day ever.I am glad i found my new home for my skin. Vaishali is Awesome 10/28/2009

I found Vaishali based upon many great reviews from her regular clients. I was really excited to give her a try because she is also conveniently located inside the loop close to my office and where I live. Vaishali goes through a consultation with each of her clients and really understands what is needed for my skin. I had a series of microdermabrasions and I love the results that I see. I wear very little makeup these days because there is no need to cover any blemishes and bumps that I had. My skin feels and looks incredibly smooth. I also get my brows threaded by Vaishali. She has incredible precision when it comes to threading my brows. It's clean and shaped well. She is fast and the threading is painless. I have been going to her for 3 months and will continue to see her for maintenance and brows. She is so sweet and I love her esthetic approach. Vaishali you are wonderful!!!
