Beansprout Chinese Restaurant

When i first moved to town i has a huge problem finding good chinese. I found the beansprout and have never gone back. They have some excellent chinese food, and usually very large portions. The staff is hit or miss, mostly miss...but it's worth it for the good chinese (which is sparce in this area). Also you may want to try PF Changs (if your in the mood to spend some $$) more

I went to the Beansprout last night with a friend for the very first time. I was very impressed with the quality of the food here. Finally- I've found a Chinese restaurant in Raleigh I really like! I got the sesame chicken combination dinner which came with egg drop soup and a egg roll for $7. As I write this review I'm actually eating my leftovers- I was given WAY too much food for one sitting. the sesame chicken is a spicy sweet, which is fantastic. Most places just make it very sweet which can get nauseating. We also sat in a booth large enough to have comfortably seated 8 people, it was the biggest thing I have ever seen. the store however is quite small only 12 tables maybe. This is located right off the beltline and pretty close to cary for you Caryites. more

Beansprout is your typical American Chinese restaurant. They carry all the staples you would expect; there isn't really anything stand-out about this place. Unless traffic or parking turns you ways from Golden Dragon, I would rather go there as Beansprout's food is not any more impressive but is several dollars more expensive for plate. Beansprout is much more convenient to Meredith College. more
