DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! 7/14/2008

I have taken my step-daughter here and made several bracelets, etc. with her, spending hundreds of dollars in this store. My mother-in-law took my step-daughter to make me an anklet for my birthday. Since my birthday (in April) I've been able to wear it twice. Each time, it has broken. The first time, I took it back and had them fix it right then. The second time, my mother-in-law took it back (this past Saturday) to get them to fix it. They couldn't fix it at the time, so they told her they could mail it back to me. I called this morning to give them my address and the owner answered the phone. I told her the situation and she told me that they do not mail things to people. I repeated what had happened and she refused. She then told me that if I would compensate her for labor and postage, she would mail it to me. She was completely rude and unfriendly. I told her that it's not worth talking with her, I would come pick it up next time I was in town. My mother-in-law called and spoke with her and she hung up on her twice after interrupting her several times. \r \r I would not recommend doing business with these people. They do not care anything about customer service and there are too many places in Austin that are friendly and caring and deserving of your money and time. \r \r I'd also like to say, that my step-daughter also made an anklet for her aunt that same day - it also broke the first time she wore it. Her aunt lives in Houston - I wonder if they'd mail it to her or if she'll have to come all the way to Austin to make them stand behind their product! Pros: Selection Cons: Customer Service - It's Horrible! They're also very expensive! more

Great Service, Well organized! 6/4/2007

i've been to many bead stores in austin and these girls were by far the friendliest! i've just started the crazy art of beading and i had a ton of questions that they were able to answer and they didn't at all act like i was an idiot for asking stupid questions! I love the way the store is set up, it makes it really simple for a goof like me to get around without a problem! Loved it! Pros: great prices, great customer service Cons: parking gets cramped more
