Great Pizza 10/9/2005

We were in the mood for Pizza, and we'd not been to Barry's in ages. We stopped by, and were immediately seated. I ordered our thin crust pizza, half with ground beef and half with pepperoni and bacon (my choice). It arrived shortly, and was excellent... lots of toppings, a thin (but not cracker thin) crisp crust, and a mild but flavorful sauce. Plenty of cheese. The atmosphere is a festive sports bar; team pennants everywhere, and big screens with the local games on. more

Go for the pizza! 8/19/2005

Barry's Pizza offers pizza, pastas, sandwiches and salads, but most people go for the pizza! Cooked in stone ovens, their pizza has one of the best crusts available in town. The atmosphere is very family friendly, with a few large screen televisions scattered about for sports nights. The restaurant has a small bar, as well as patio seating, so the clientele ranges from singles to families. No matter who you are, though, the staff is friendly and service is good. Try it for the pizza, stay for the atmosphere! more

Barry's Pizza and Italian Diner is a 125 seat Texas log cabin located at 6003 Richmond Avenue, five minutes from the famous Galleria. We are serving our third generation of customers! People who first came in as children with their parents are now bringing in their own children. Our wine list and draft beer selection offer our guests both a quality and price not found in other pizzerias. We offer our customers the opportunity to dine in our rustic Texas dining rooms, or sit out on our patio for an “al fresco” meal. Meals can also be picked up or delivered to our guests, either at home or at work.
