Their pizza is always great, and they usually beat the delivery estimates which is always a nice surprise. A go-to for pizza delivery in my house.

Worst

Very rude waitress. Good bread, great pastries. Service was very disappointing. Dining anywhere else in Cole Valley would be better. Pros: good bread Cons: poor service

Sevice with an Attitude 6/15/2009

On four occasions, because it is convenient, we have experienced a consistent ""take it or leave it"" attitude and a casual snottyness from the wait staff. If you don't carefully watch your plate it will be scooped up by the table-clearers and be gone. Pros: Good food and decent portions, but... Cons: ""We could care less attitude"" more

Great neighborhood restaurant 5/15/2008

This is one of our regular treats. The dinners are reasonable and the staff is excellent. This is also a great place to take kids. The staff will bring the children wads of pizza dough for play dough while you wait! more

Wonderful Italian food year after year 4/10/2007

I have been eating at Bambino's since I was a kid, and it never fails to disappoint and is always a favorite of my family and friends. Although it started out as a standard pizza restaurant, it has gotten a lot more upscale in recent years and now (with classier menu, more fine dining options, and dim lighting) is a great place for a romantic date. The food, especially the pastas and pizzas, is delicious, filling and always piping hot. They are also great for accomodating groups - I once had a birthday dinner here for 10 friends, and they made it easy. Pros: delicious food, ambience, menu, service Cons: parking, sometimes a long wait to be seated and for food to be served more

A wonderful place for a meal 10/9/2006

I was very pleased with Bambino's. The restaurant is spacious which is a nice change from so many other SF restaurants. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was excellent. Bambino's is one of my ""go-to"" places where I know I'll have a good experience and tasty food. Definitely a spot to know. more

Bad service... never going back. 7/31/2006

I just got back from an office lunch here. The waitress spilled an entire tray of drinks on me. We were a table of 12, and there was a 10 minute span between the first plate and last plate being brought out. I had a pork sandwich with bleu cheese and grilled onions, which was alright but not great. Despite walking out of there with a completely damp shirt and pants, I was not offered to have my meal comp'ed or anything. When I realized there was no mention of compensation for the crappy service, I thought ""Well at least I can reflect the service in the tip..."". Nope. The gratuity was included. And it was 20% gratuity, not 15% (standard); I would have left out about $10 in tip if I had the choice (to cover my sandwich). I couldn't really make a fuss either as I was seated next to my boss. I guess my only solace is that I will never go back. more

Love this Place ! 6/1/2006

The place was full, but they said that they could bring in an outside table or sit us at the Bar. We choose the Bar. They were very accomadating and the service was excellent. If you are a food snob, don't bother dissing this place , it is what it is- A friendly Itailian Resturant with Great Service. You could not get a three course meal with a bottle of wine for two for $70.00. Pros: Service, Bar Seating, Service Cons: Crowded, Parking more
