Bambi Day Care Center Inc.

I live in this area and heard a lot from other moms that teachers in this location are very mean and lazy; however I still decided to see myself since we live just around the corner. I was very disappointed; my 3 years old daughter was shaking every time I mentioned her about the day care and told me that teachers are screaming at her all the time. When I came to pick up my daughter during nap time, I heard myself how loud and rude teacher speaks to one child who didn?t want to sleep. Fortunately we left this day care and very happy now. more

The location on 1981 Homecrest Avenue is such a mess! The teachers are unqualified, insolent, very lazy and irresponsible. Their attitude to parents is unacceptable. Unfortunately, the owner of this location doesn't care much about what is happening around. more

I have all good things to say about the Bambi at Rogers. My husband and I enrolled our first child here and now that I'm preggers again, I know this one will be a Bambi Kid too. The teachers were all so warm and inviting, unlike the vibes we got from some of the other pre-schools in the area. They teach our daughter so much and everytime I pick her up from school, shes so excited to tell me what new thing she learned. They take them on community trips and travel as well. They're annual Spring Concert always brings a tear to my eye just because I'm so proud that my baby can get up on stage and recite poems and songs while having fun. \r \r Crown Heights deserves a place like this. It offers alot that other pre-schools don't. It isn't a whole in the wall like some other private daycares. The teachers and the facilities are warm and professional. The renovations of the classrooms and the new playground they've built in the back make it even better. \r \r Love it! more

Unfortunately, the reviews are mixed. The location at 300 Rogers has teachers who are not certified. and most parents are not aware of the issues there more

I have 3 children and I have sent all of them to Bambi Day Care Center ...yes the one at 300 Rogers. I'm not sure what the last commentator is talking about, but the teachers are very polite and nurturing with the kids and their classrooms are always immaculate. After Bambi, my children tested highly and were admitted to the top public school in my area. It sounds like you have a personal problem with the director because your opinions are all sorts of unfounded. I would tell any parent that if they live in that area of Brooklyn, Bambi is one of the best. more

The previous review from "yuliyu" is mixed up with another daycare. The daycare located at 300 Rogers does not have those activites or facilities for the children. As a volunteer and parent I would not recommend this daycare immediately unless a parent has no other options. The health dept has failed to notice the issues because of the relationship the director has with many of the inspectors. For a daycare, the toys, cots, and overall facility is not disinfected or cleaned regularly and adequate ventilation is not in use. Money is the focus of this business at the expensive of the childrens health and education.I am writing this review so that parents can make an informed decision and be more observant in where they place their children. more

Bambi academy is a whole chain of day care centers, including K-8 school and summer camp. The facilities are nice and big, well run. all of them offer hot lunch and snacks. Children have the opportunity to attend additional classes inside the centers: karate, dance, fencing etc. One unique aspect - school has swimming classes at their pool as a part of gym class.\r Overall, it is a good daycare setting for kids.
