From Good to Bad 9/28/2010

If I had written this review two months ago it would have been very different, and I'm glad I waited. At this point I give 2 stars because despite all of the difficulties, the yard is looking 10 times better than it did before. I have 11/13 working irrigation zones, and the grass is healthy and mostly weed free (partly thanks to Tru-green and lots of weed pulling). The irrigation trenches are all clearly visible where the ground has settled, but hopefully I can fix that with some top dressing. There are still some spots where grass has not grown in well, either due to poor hydroseeding or poor water distribution, but those are filling in slowly. Cesar has always been very polite through the process. He was apologetic about all of the problems, but promised timelines were rarely met. I would probably not bring them back for another project unless the problems I still have are made right. more

Cesar and his crew were prompt in the delivery of service. We had previously contracted the project with another company, with poor results. Cesar took the time to take our vision and make it a reality. We couldn't be more pleased with the design that Cesar presented prior to construction. He kept us informed of all the details during the course of the project, from plant & light selections, to exact placement of the water feature and tree location. Ten days later we were entertaining guests at our first garden party. We wouldn't change one feature and can't wait until the Spring/Summer to landscape the front of our home. Pros: Great customer service & timeliness of results Cons: none noted more

After a year and a half of dealing with poor drainage on our patio and a landscape space we couldn't get anything to grow in, we finally decided to bite the bullet and get some work done. We got several quotes and were impressed with Cesar and AOS right away. They were professional, forthcoming and came off very knowledgeable. Once we decided to work with them, we were even more impressed. From start to finish, they were reliable, extremely efficient and fantastic communicators. They completely redid the patio, encased several columns with stone and stoned in the difficult area making it a beautiful retreat setting. And when the first drainage solution didn't meet our standards, they fixed in within 24 hours. Amazing work. Friendly guys. Highly recommend. Pros: honest, reliable, quick and great communication Cons: pricey but worth it more
