We have been customers since 1999. The best advice I ever got on how to raise two teenage boys was to finish the basement, put in a home theater system (with game systems), and keep pizza's in the freezer. The kids will come to you house and you won't have to worry about where your boys are. - I did not want to have to do all of the research to determine which components to purchase. I went to AHT and Scott (owner) quickly wrote all of the components out on a legal pad. I went home and checked them on the internet. I found most of them to be better quality than you could get at the local stores. I found the prices reasonable. AHT came and pre-wired the basement, then came back and installed and calibrated the sound system. The picture, and especially the sound, were excellent. Our sons friends often came over with a two liter bottle of soda and a game controller. They would go in the basement and play for hours.\r \r More recently, we had the system updated. AHT came out, and recommended components of the upgrade. Once again they installed everything and calibrated the sound. They also programmed a single user friendly remote to control the system. We could not be happier with the results.\r \r AHT helped us identify the best components for our needs and our budget and got them setup. [They will also come out and troubleshoot any problems that may arise. (Like when someone has pressed so many random buttons, you can't get the system back to normal).]\r \r more

My experience with AHT was excellent. I initiated my contact via email and I had a response within 10 minutes....very impressive. Two days later Scott (owner) was at my house giving me advice on the new Sonos sound system. Although these speakers are generally plug and play units I wanted professional advice on where to put them. Scott was very helpful and there was no ""sales pitch"" involved. We agreed on the best option and within a week the system was installed and it works extremely well.\r The installer was Jamie and he was GREAT! He was in and out in 1.5 hours. He also programed my ipad and smart phone to operate the system. He was very courteous and organized. I enjoyed the interaction with him. \r I would highly recommend AHT to anyone looking for the services they provide.......which is expansive. My experience was very positive.\r Warren more

Like so many heading into Super Bowl week I was excited about enjoying the game in my theater. A week before the big game I was faced with a projector problem that would call for my projector to be shipped to Epson. AHT jumped right in and contacted Epson, had a new projector shipped and installed it by Friday! Party saved!!! I would also add that the city was shutdown for 3 days due to snow but AHT still stuck to their word. Kudos to the team! \r more

I was looking to have a fairly small, but very nice theater installed in my basement. I was utilizing an unfinished space so everything from framing to equipment installation had to be done. I had my own sub contractors for the build-out but was a little overwhelmed trying to make sure I thought of everything. From the minute I met with Greg and Gene at Atlanta Home Theater, I knew I had found the right company to work with on the project. I contracted with AHT for prewiring, seating, control automation, and equipment installation, but they helped me with everything from sizing the room to wiring for electrical and designing a tray ceiling for a Night Sky Mural. The guys that did the prewiring and installation were absolutely fantastic as well. I just wish every company I worked with was as professional and knowledgeable as AHT. I would also highly recommend Lee Bivens if you are looking to have add a night sky mural. Overall, the entire project turned out better than I could have ever hoped for and I am loving my new theater! more

We are a repeat customer of AHT. Approximately 9 1/2 years ago we finished our basement and AHT worked with our basement contractor and installed a surround sound home theater system that still sounds great today. We recently upgraded several of our home theater components and AHT did an excellent job installing the new equipment (including installing a long range WAP for our home Wi-Fi router). AHT was also very helpful when we were trying to decide which Smart TV to go with. Overall, AHT representatives are very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the latest in home audio/video technology. AHT provides great customer service, and I would highly recommend them to anyone! more

We have an old, old home.....very difficult to bring into the 21st century but these guys managed! It took a bit of time and a lot of creative thinking but they persevered. They are really nice guys AND they cleaned up after themselves. We opted for the control4 remote, a sonos sound bar and 2 speakers and are enjoying them immensely. We also added a thermostat which was quite a challenge in 'this old house' but they succeeded. They are prompt and courteous and absolutely know what they are doing. more

I just had a great experience with Atlanta Home Theater. I wanted a 50inch Sony mounted behind rolling cabinets to hide the TV when not in use and they did an outstanding job. I also got a sonos sound bar recommended by them and the sound is amazing. \r \r The install team put my receiver in the coat closet off the main room so the whole setup looks clean and beautiful. The pricing on all the components and install was great and the service from the install team was excellent. I worked directly with Scott the CEO and Joe the COO and they treated my install like it was a 100k home automation job with their attitude, attention to detail and responsiveness. I can't say enough about these guys. You definitely won't be disappointed if you are doing a full IMAX home theater setup to a small surround and tv mount job like I did. If you are in the Atlanta area and need home theater work done... Look no further, these are your guys!\r \r more

I recently built out a movie theater in my home, 16x27. I worked with Greg and Joe and Jaime at AHT through each step of the process. They made it very easy by providing detailed drawings and equipment specs that matched exactly what I wanted to achieve. Every step of the way was handled extraordinarily well by every person involved from AHT including taking down the existing set up that was upstairs and relocating it in to the new theater. All steps were planned, my questions were answered and the end product was exactly what was expected with zero surprises. The system totally blows me away every time I watch and listen to it. I have never seen or heard anything like this, awesome is just the start of my reaction. From beginning to end, each person involved from AHT, knew their stuff, was professional, timely and just a pleasure to work with. Time was spent to train me and show me how the system works and what the features are so I was able to use it and enjoy it right away. Because of all of these things, AHT now has a repeat customer. For me, it is all about trust and that foundation started on day one with AHT. From there, AHT consistently exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled with Atlanta Home Theater. I am psyched to now move on to other phases with them. The very best customer experience I have ever had just happened with AHT.. Thanks to all. more

If you are looking for a professional audio/video installation group, then Atlanta Home Theater should be your first choice! From the very first meeting at their beautiful showroom, we felt comfortable in choosing them for our audio/video and security system installation project in our new home. Scott Ross and his entire team are very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest technology, and they go the extra mile to make sure that you are satisfied not only with the top of the line products they install, but also with their customer service. The entire team (we interacted with approximately 10 people) were so professional and polite, always arrived on time, and did exactly what they said they were going to do. We are so pleased with our new system, in which we can control everything they installed from our iPads and iPhones....including our two story automatic shades in our great room! AHT is a class act and we will definitely only use them for any future projects. They have installed some extremely impressive systems with clients that have WAY more funds and WAY more extensive installations than ours, but we both felt that they gave us the same experience and service as their higher-end clients. And they even politely put up with our crazy dog during the entire install! :-) Thanks to Scott, Craig, Joe, James, Kyle, Fazel, Chris and all others for a very pleasant experience. Repeat customer of AHT. They planned and did a major install a number of years ago when I had a custom basement build out and worked very closely with my contractor and did an excellent job. I recently upgraded some of the components due to technology changes. They are definitely up to date on what's going on in the industry. AHT is for people looking for the newest in audio/video technology, custom installation,and a high level of customer service all which don't come cheap but worth it. more

Atlanta Home Theater is a MUST! \r When I was designing my new townhome, I knew that I wanted a home theater and surround sound system for my music to play throughout my home. I have a friend who recommended AHT. Scott Ross and his entire team (Joe, Charlie, Adam, Fazel, Gene to name a few) customized a system to fit my specific needs. The team came in while my place was being constructed for the prewire and followed it every step of the way. Moves can be stressful but AHT made my transition easier by taking care of all of the audio visual in my home. I have had the system for almost five months now and I continue to be impressed with both the equipment and its functionality. With AHT, you are not just paying for the best equipment, you are also paying for the service. Each AHT representative is professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I am truly impressed with my system. And I also realize that I can continue to add on features that will make my system even more automated. For now, I can control my audio/visual, my thermostat, and unlock my doors from my phone or ipad. Eventually, I would like to add lighting and automated blinds to my home. Since I included all of these options in the prewire, it will be easy to add on. I could not be more pleased with my system. If you are looking for a home theater system, there really is no other company to choose. These days, you can get the equipment from anyone or anywhere. Atlanta Home Theater is a winner! Owner Scott Ross definitely knows how to treat his customers and leave them with an amazing experience. I had a home security system installed a couple weeks ago by Atlanta Home Theater. At first I thought it was a little small scale in comparison to some if the amazing theater jobs that I've seen on the website, but Scott quickly put my mind at ease. I received the same great treatment and professionalism as someone who spent more money than I did. James and Fazel arrived at my home in Roswell earlier than their scheduled time and stayed later than needed just to insure that I knew how to operate the system. It started to rain towards the end of the day but that did not deter James and Fazel from providing a very quality and professional finish. I needed my cameras placed high on my home (just over 30ft) and the ladder barely reached. James fearlessly climbed the ladder until the last two rungs and extended himself to reach my cameras even though he could have placed them elsewhere. Fazel worked tirelessly in a small cramped attic to run my cables out of the way so that it was aesthetically pleasing. Everytime Fazel passed by my wife who was watching television, he said ""excuse me"". I would recommend Atlanta Home Theater to anyone who wants a professional job done at a very reasonable price. I am a serious Audiophile with caviar tastes and shameful budget. So it was with great humility and trepidation that I approached Scott to purchase a pair of demo Wilson Sashas and a Watch Center Speaker. In the past, with my limited budget, Audiogon has been my only option. Scott has changed that, he gave me a fabulous deal for my retirement dream system for which I will be eternally grateful! The demo Sashas were delivered and stetup in my home in pristine condition. The Installation Techs were very respectful of my hardwoods and home, they put floor coverings everywhere and wore booties. Atlanta Home Theater is a well oiled machine, from sales, marketing, to expertise and installation, all were sensitive to my needs and anxious to please. There are a number of places to purchase high end equipment. The true magic of entertainment that makes the home such a great refuge, is the ""quality"" of the knowledge and service that supports the ""best gear"". Scott Ross and technical staff were knowledgeable about state of the art design during consultation for design and installation of the AV and home integration system. Joe Coots was most helpful with coordination of appointments, proposal, invoicing and general communication. Chris Ahnberg is a whiz at programming with outstanding technical skill sets. AHT has also been responsive and helpful in tweaking the user interface to be intuitive for myself...and for guests. I highly recommend the AHT team for design, installation, and support of home technology. more
