I purchased a Groupon for this salon for a hair cut and style, and while it seems this place gets great reviews for the spa services, I did not have a good experience in the salon. Now granted, I understand I got a Groupon, so maybe I shouldn't be expecting much, but I thought the point of Groupon was to gain new customers; I won't be one of them. The cut wash and ""style"" took all of twenty minutes, I've never had a haircut done that rapidly. I told my stylist that my curly hair needed to be shaped, but she basically just trimmed it, so I now look like a topiary. The receptionist was aloof and texting the whole time I was at the front desk and kept giving me this nasty look the whole time we were interacting for no apparent reason. The ""styling"" my stylist did after cutting my hair included shaking her hand through my hair really hard (to the point where it was really uncomfortable and painful for me) and making it very frizzy. I love the way it feels when you leave the salon with your hair all perfectly styled and looking way better than you could do it yourself. Unfortunately, I just left with wet unstyled, frizzy hair and a bad mood.
