Arabica has been a Cleveland staple for many years, and the various locations have come in and out of favor over this time. The Parma Heights location has new management, and is undergoing some serious remodeling (and menu price reductions, which is a bonus), but the main feature of this location is the beautiful, large patio.
They also offer free wi-fi, so you can have your cake and coffee and surf the web with it, whether outside or inside.
I go here often to read a book and enjoy some "me time" over a latte, but it's also a great place to meet up with people for a casual evening. They offer beers and wines as well.
The patio does fill up on warm summer nights, and during the school year, the whole place is full of rather loud high school students after dark (inside and out). The smoking area of the inside dining room was notoriously hazy, but new ventilation systems have been installed, which will hopefully eradicate the problem.
Overall, a great place to park yourself for a while and just hang out. Full complement of desserts and a limited range of sandwiches and heavier fare. The food has been overpriced in the past, but I think that's changing with the new management. I usually just get a coffee and maybe a cookie.
