Appliance Repair Raleigh

I was referred to this company by Advanced Appliance and Air, who are the parents of Brandon White. He appeared in his personal car with is girlfriend. I was overcharged for a visit and told that my washer could not be repaired. I called and asked for a refund since I later found out that the washer was under warranty and just needed a motor. I was told I could not speak with Brandon and would be called back later. I never received a call. After filing a complaint with the BBB, I found out that the phone number belongs to a cell phone and numerous complaints have been made against Brandon White using other business names. He is also a tax cheat since he will only accept checks made out to him personally. more

I had a 2 year old fridge that the warranty had just expired on and after returning home from a weekend trip I find the darn thing not working. I called Appliance Repair Raleigh and first thing Monday morning Brandon was at my house and with in 45 minutes had my fridge fixed!!!!!! Thank you Brandon for tending to my emergency in such a timely manner and for saving me a whole lot of money! more

My washing machine was on the blink, man I did everything I thought could be done to get that sucker working. So I decided let me call someone local. Hoping I did not have to go out and spend several hundred dollars for a new one, I called Brandon. Brandon said I will come and check it out, it may be something minor. 30 minutes after he got there it was working..... I would recommend this company to anyone needing there heating unit repaired. My heat stopped working yesterday and Brandon was able to get out to my home in a matter of hours and got my unit up and working for a great price. I called 3 other companies before calling Brandon and he was able to beat their prices by $250.00 dollars. Thank you so much Brandon and Bridget! more

I am so happy with the service that I received. My refrigerator had been acting up on me for about a week, so I decided to call Appliance Repair Raleigh. They showed up about fifteen minutes early and came to a quick conclusion to what was wrong. My compressor had died on me. My first reaction was scared and curious to what it might cost. They let me know that it would be $350.00 for everything. It wasn't a very hard decision, considering that new fridges these day cost around a thousand dollars. They installed the compressor and it has been running like a dream, for a month now. I would refer anyone to this company. I now know who to call whenever I have a problem with anything else. more

I was very shocked by the reviews below, because Brandon and his assistant were truly fantastic! I called with not one but three broken appliance's! My washer. dryer, and my fridge were all on the blink in a home i just bought and they were able to get all three repaired in a timely manner and at a very reasonable cost! I contacted this “repair service” to look at relatively new side-by-side refrigerator that suddenly stopped cooling. Two guys came, started the compressor, drilled the hole in the line, added CFC, took money and left. The refrigerator leaked CFC in 5 days and now is unfixable per factory-certified refrigeration technician. If Brandon and his friend knew what they were doing – they are dishonest men; if they did not – they should not advertise themselves as refrigeration technicians. A conceited woman on the phone yelled at me when I tried to get money back for this rip-off. more

I would have to agree with negative reviews for this company. Exact the same experience with the refrigerator/freezer – no guarantee of work and stopped working soon after repair. Makes me wonder who has written 5 stars reviews for them. more

What a great experience! Brandon and his fellow worker came out to my residence on a Saturday morning. I was having problems with two of my appliances. Brandon, and his helper were able to quickly and accurately diagnose the problems. They put the necessary part on my appliances, and saved me from buying new appliances. These guys are your best bet when it comes to broken appliances. I will definitaly use them in the future. more

Brandon (if it's his real name) came to the first appointment on time and was very polite and personable but unable to figure out what was wrong with my fridge. He added some Freon but said that cannot guarantee my fridge will be working; did niot hesitate to take the payment though. Wanted to add leak-off that should prevent leaking in the future and promised to come back to do it since he did not have that chemical with him. Brandon never showed up for his second appointment and has not been answering phone calls. In fact, they never answered the phone, a woman called back to schedule both appointments. Do yourself a favor and find somebody with better expertise and more reliable. After 5 days, Freon completely leaked out and refrigerator was not cooling again. A technician from Whirlpool looked at what was done and explained what happened - the fitting Brandon put on the line to add Freon was not sealed and created a much bigger leak compared to one the fridge might had before. After my heated phone conversation with a scheduling woman, Brendon did came ready to add leak-off to a fridge that did not have any freaon left thanks to leaking fitting. I was trying to explain him why this act is useless but he stared complaining about this review in an agressive and insulting manner, and thus was asked to leave the house. Now they are working on refunding my money. Be careful when dealing with this company and ask for a business license and a proof they can work with Freon. more

I was so impressed by the manner and the work of Brandon. He has fixed my washer and fridge and I will always use him in tha time of need. I was shocked with the low rates he charged for the repairs, In this time and day honesty and not having to pay a big bill is hard to come by. Brandon stands behind hes word and work, I trust him along with hes workers, Which are all extremely nice. They were on time and were very respectful when it came to returning calls. Appliance Repair is my Appliance people, they have great prices, great personalities and always do a job well done. This is one of the only appliance repairman we have known during our past 13 years in Raleigh to communicate with us about exactly when he would arrive and call if running behind! Wow, reading all these good reviews made me select this business, but I'm sorry I wasted my time! Brandon came out and "diagnosed" the problem with my dishwasher. We set up a day & time for him to return to fix it. My husband took off from work to meet Brandon at 2:30---Brandon was a no-show, and did not bother to call until 2 hours past the scheduled time. He claimed he was not sure he made the correct diagnosis. When I spoke to him the following day, I asked him why he didn't call us to discuss this with us instead of just not showing up. The guy is clueless--did not understand why I was so mad when he failed to show up at the time we agreed to. Pros: none Cons: did not show for service more

I had a refrigerator on the fritz called two other people who couldnt do anything then i call Appliance Repair Raleigh and the problem was fixed in no time at half of what it cost the other two people not to fix it. After calling around to several places around Raleigh and not getting the prices I was looking for, and some very rude, I called Appliance Repair Raleigh about getting my washing machine fixed. Brandon was extremely nice and was able to come out that day and had my washing machine fixed in no time! I highly recommend Appliance Repair Raleigh to help you out with any of you're appliance problems!! And did I mention they have very low resonable prices? I am new to the area, and had no idea of who to call when my washer was leaking water. I called Brandon White, Ace is Great Appliance repair, and I'm sure glad that I did!!! He was fast and very friendly!!! Found the problem right away and the charge was lower than expected!!! He left everything clean....there was NOT a mess to clean up like so many other repairman leave. I will not hesitate to call him again or refer my friends to him!! Great job!!!!
