Anton's Salon & M Spa

I recieved a gift card for christmas to this salon and decided to give it a try for a color and hair cut. From the very moment i stepped into the front entrance, i was absolutley floored by the sheer magnitude of this salon/spa! The decor is immaculate and it feels like some exclusive salon on Hollywood Blvd! The girl at the front desk greeted me immediately, with a smile and a cheerful ""hello, how can i help you?"" She checked me in, and even offered to hang up my coat for me and brought me a coffee. The entire time, she made me feel as if i was a welcome guest, not as if i was an inconvience like most of these reviews are saying. The stylist did exactly what i told her i wanted. The color was amazing, the exact brown with subtile highlights that i wanted. The cut was a wonderful change too, i wanted to go short but not too short, and she cut it really cute. All in all, i would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone, they definitely have a repeat customer here, and i can't wait to schedule my next appointment. I have been going to Anton's Pewaukee, WI location for a little over a year now and the service and staff have always stood out as being exceptional. I am always greeted with a warm smile from the front desk staff as soon as I walk in the door. Which stands out in comparison to other salons I have gone to in the past. Not only is the front desk staff great but I have never had a poor experience or a disappointment with the results of any of the services I have tried. Which includes services from the hair salon and massage therapists. And my wife loves the nail technicians. I would definitely recommend both Anton's locations. Pros: Great front desk staff! Do not go here. Please. I've been a loyal customer to Anton's for a few years now and after my past three experiences there, I'm done with them. Up until recently, the atmosphere of the salon and spa has changed. They used to be super friendly and nice, but now they are snotty, rude, and think that they are better than their customers and have a right to treat them poorly. Again, I can confirm that the reception staff is terrible. They are extremely rude and not to mention, not the sharpest tools in the shed. I went to get my eyebrows waxed yesterday and the girl who did them did a horrible job. My usual girl wasn't in, so I had an appointment with what I would think was a ""trainee."" She seriously waxed them unevenly and missed a spot. I went home having to pluck them myself to fix it. It was very disappointing. I'd just like to tell anyone who works there, if they read this to get it together. You guys used to be my favorite salon and spa, but the customer service and quality of services have exponentially dropped in the past six months. This place is a joke. I wanted to try it even though it had bad reviews. This is the Delafield location, I have not been to the Pewaukee location. Everything in the reviews are TRUE!! Front desk-rude and snobby. The ""manager"" who checked me in needs a personality makeover. She didn't acknowledge I was even standing there or to let me know that the stylist was running behind. I don't know how this salon stays open because they are so awful. The staff just rushes you in and out. Dirty and needs to be updated. The stylists are more concerned about gossiping with each other than making sure their clients are happy. I had a hair cut which was ok from an ""artistic director"". Its much shorter than I wanted and nothing looks even. The main reason I came to this salon was to check it out to see if I wanted to have my bridal party here, but they do not deserve my business and I can't risk having a stressed out day due to their lack of customer service. I went to Anton's on January 4th, for the very first time. I went to get my hair cut and dyed. First, I was not greeted by the lady at the reception desk. She was amidst conversation about her car to another lady standing at the front desk while I walked in the door. Niether receptionist, looked up. I, in fact, had to say hi, introduce myself, and tell them what I was in for. The lady interrupted me and told me to hang on a second. Then, she finished her conversation, then looked up my information. I absolutely could not believe it. Then, I was greeted by my stylist 25 minutes after my appointment time. Not one person checked in with me to inform me that they were running late. Not to mention, during the time I had to wait, I observed dust and grime everywhere. The hallway where the massuese's walk their clients back was absolutely disgusting. I would never, ever, in a million years get a massage there, knowing how completely dirty it is. So finally, when I got called up to have my hair cut and dyed, my stylist seemed stressed out when I asked for color. She told me that she was running behind and that she was going to have to make it quick. I COULD not believe that. I understand that she was running behind, but come on-- please hold a certain level of professionalism-- that was just absolutely ridiculous. I told her to just forget the color and just give me a trim. Then, upon my payment for my services, I was charged for the color!!! I told the receptionist- the same one who checked me in, that I did not get my hair colored and she informed me that she would have to check with the stylist. Hello!? My hair did not look any different than from when I walked in! It took her about 10 minutes to track down my stylist, and she couldn't even remember who I was. I was in complete awe. This was the WORST experience I have EVER had! I felt like it was just a big joke. Ugh. And I didn't even get an appology. Ridiculous!! Pros: The lighting wasn't bad. I recommend this salon and spa to anyone who is looking to walk out of there happy! They have a wide variety of services and every service done is top notch. Their salon and spa staff are great and accomodating as well as their front desk staff who is friendly, accomodating and ""with it"". I was very happy when I moved from Boston to MKE to find Anton's. I have had my hair cut there for the past 4 years and all the stylists have been consistently excellent, especially Molly, Pfung and Michelle. The best thing is that they train everyone consistently so you can make an appointment with anyone if you're short on time and know you are going to get a great result. The stylists spend a lot of time on the details and checking their work so I always walk out with the haircut I want. I was surprised to learn how much they invest in training and monitoring their stylists, even sending them to classes and trade shows in NY and Las Vegas. I went into Anton's today to get my hair cut and colored. I have never before had bad service there, and my hair cut and color, done by Ciara, looks great. However, my mother had previously called the front desk and left her credit card number for the reception staff to bill to her account. I informed the lady at the front desk (I heard another lady call her Patty) that my mom had called and left her info so we could bill her for my service. Without even looking for a note, she looks back at me and tells me that there was no phonecall. My mother is a responsible individual, and would never leave me in a situation like this. I asked her to look around, and she looked at me like I was asking her to jump off a cliff! In the meantime since she couldn't find the slip, she charged my card for the service. Right after the transaction went through, another one of the reception staff comes off break and tells the lady that it was under another sheet of paper. Talk about rudeness and incompetence. If the lady would have just done me a favor and looked around for my mom's information, without rolling her eyes at me, we wouldn't have had this problem. And furthermore! When she found my mom's information, she didn't even offer to credit my card back the amount that she charged it for in order to make it right!!\r \r I have always thought of Anton's as an upscale place. I went to get my hair highlighted because I am in the process of going from medium blonde to light blonde. The stylist said ""Is this color??!!"" I said yes. Thinking she should know since she is the hair stylist. I wasn't looking for an instant change from dark to light. The highlights in the back were sloppy and had no exact pattern and they didn't go all the way to my scalp. As I looked around it looked as though the other stylists were unhappy with their job. They are probably being paid minimum wage to work their butts off. Something I have seen in other salons. Pros: Good product line Cons: Lots more

Anton's is by far the best salon and spa i have ever been to, and i have been to many. I have never been poorly treated there and the staff at Anton's is exceptionally well trained. They have great services, great people, great products and overall great customer service. I don't see how anyone could have a bad experience here. Anyone who feels that Anton's is not a great place are sadly mistaken! They must be the type of clients who are snooty and never happy about anything! It doesn't get much better than this! This was the worst color I have ever received and the Creative DIrector level colorist did not know what she was doing. I went in for highlights which turned orange, and when I asked for my money back the manager said I had to have the color fixed at the salon. She would not give me my money back. Anton's Salon has to be one of the best salon/spas in the area. I live on the eastside and drive all the way to Delafield to go to Anton's. I recently had an entire day of spa services, and there was not one service that wasn't top notch. It's an upscale salon without the snobby attitude. I've tried at least a dozen spas through the years, and I keep going back to Anton's. It's clean, professional and friendly. I'd recommend it to anyone. more

I will NEVER step foot in Antons~ a salon that has no regard for service and customer satisfaction. They have no idea what's going on. All of the information on mine was ""lost"" from the system and there was ""nothing they can do"". I was treated very poorly and as someone who used to work in the industry, I would have NEVER allowed anyone to be treated the way I was at Antons. They have a ""so what"" kind of additude and there are so many more salons in the area that are more deserving. As someone who is looking for a salon and spa to recieve all of my services and Antons is NOT it! Service goes a long way ladies! Antons does not care if they lose my business or money, but I have the satisfaction of giving to companies that care. They will not recieve a dime of my hard earned money.
