Angelina's is the best Italian. 12/10/2011

As good as it gets 7/6/2011

After having lived in Europe for four years, then taking my family for a month in Italy, I think I have found a decent Italian restaurant in Littleton. My family has visited Angelina's on several occasions. We have never been disappointed. My son, an Executive Chef, trained in a Michelin 3 star restaurant in Italy, loved this place. The service has been excellent every time, and the food was prepared with care, and tasted like it. I will continue to go here. If you want fast-food Italian, at fast-food prices, then this is not your place, perhaps Fazoli's would suit your taste buds better. more

Rip Off! 4/8/2011

Found Angelina's Italian Restaurant through a website selling discount coupons. Would never have even tried them except for the coupon. We made reservations and was seated. Our waitress tried to upsell us on our dishes, but it was late and we tried three different items on their menu that were not too heavy. The first item presented was ""burnt"" garlic bread. The second item was a small dish of their version of salad. The glasses and silverware were smudged and that was just the beginning. Three small plates of pasta were presented that came to $48 without a coupon. My plate consisted of overly seasoned pasta and mushrooms, which tasted somewhat burnt. We presented our coupon at the beginning of our meal as instructed. At the end of our meal they presented the check and announced that our coupon was expired. At the bottom of the coupon it reads "" This Gift Certificate does not expire"". If it is called in, and they did, it is automatically voided. We had to present another coupon that we happen to have with us, luckily. So, basically they called in both coupons and voided them both. Service, customer service and food get ""two thumbs down"". Am warning as many people as possible about their deceptive practices! more

Good Restaurant 1/7/2011

We almost didn't go to this restaurant because there were several unfavorable reviews on this site so I decided I would write a review about my experience. We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and highly recommend it. The service, food and atmosphere were great. The food we had was not typical restaurant chain food - you can tell it is homemade and it was excellent. Several reviews mentioned the owner in an unfavorable light - well, the owner did walk around and visit the customers, ask if their dinner was OK. He seemed to me a straight forward, very direct guy - he gave me a pat on the cheek and tease us a bit and thanked us for coming to his restaurant. We enjoyed visiting with him. So bottom line, I would go back to this restaurant and will recommend it to friends. more

Unfortunate Experience 1/4/2011

Won't comment on the food, because the proprietor needs to know that grabbing patrons on the chest and abdomen is not acceptable. more

I have read all of the reviews..and to me, it is a bit strange that people either hate it or it has no faults at all....kind of like perhaps maybe the owner as well has the staff have come in and made positive comments. I would just like to say to the restauranteurs that you should listen to critical reveiws and improve things ! Not just ignore them and fluff the reveiws up yourselves ! Fresh Italian is the best way to go ! Get a fantasic cook/chef in your kitchen and improve your customer service! How hard is it to make good Italian food? Not hard. Perhaps I will visit when I see a real review...where someone expounds the improvements in service and quality. Until then, I would be a bit wary. more

Spiraling downward? 9/9/2008

After going to this restaurant for many (8) years, since it was only a small take-out establishment a few doors down from where it is now, the food quality and service has gone from good food, abrupt New York-ish stand-off attitude to poor food and same or worse attitude. more

Worst Experience Possible 1/4/2008

Where to begin. First off, this place is a dive. It seats about 20 people, but you still have to wait about a half an hour to sit, despite half of the tables being empty. When you do sit down, you'll find the prices to be OUTRAGEOUS. It becomes even more obvious when you get the food. I ordered Lasagna. I paid 20 dollars. It was a half a piece of lasagna in a lasagna soup. The reason it was half a piece? They served it to another guy who started eating it!!! They said ' we'll bring another right out' (no apology) and they took the other guys away from him and brought me a 'new' piece. Kinda shady when it takes an hour the first time to cook a piece of Lasagna, and 30 seconds the next. Even more shady when you look at the piece the other dude was nibbling on, and your piece is exactly his nibble shy of a full piece. This was the worst experience we've ever had, and i'm reporting this place to the city health inspector and the Better Bus. Bureau. Do yourself a favor, pay 15 bucks for an entre at Macaroni Grill or Olive Garden. I'd rather stay away from chains too, but trust me....it's THAT bad!!!! Cons: Please read review...PLEASE more

this is Italian food? 5/24/2007

Angry New York attitude from the owner with an arrogance that made the whole dining experience terrible. It might work in Manhattan but not here. The food? marginal at best, I have had better sauce from the kid;s cafeteria at school. It seems this guys relatives played a mean joke and taught him how to cook like a ninnny. Don't waste the time or the money. more

personal courtesy and food prepared with a lot of heart 1/22/2007

We found Angelina's a couple of years ago because we had a coupon from the Entertainment book, and it has become a favorite at our house! The service is always great, the dining room is clean and comfortable, and the food is always delicious. The alfredo sauce is to die for! They have nice menus that are easy to read and offer great wines, too. Bob, the owner and chef, is personable and enhances the dining experience as does his manager, Renee. My kids love to go, too! more

AN INSIDERS VIEW! =) 1/7/2007

I would like to give you some input from an insiders view....I have worked for Bob longer than most have known that Angelina's has existed. I was reading about ratings and comments that everyone has given and I would like to say, Thank you. Pros: Personable staff and owner more

Great Food! 9/21/2006

The pizza was great, Lasagna was fresh, and the service was great!!!! The owner came out and introduced himself. What a fantastic find this is. more

Closed on a Saturday Night! 5/22/2006

A visit to Angelina's Italian Restaurant was a very unpleasant experience for myself and my boyfriend. When we got to the restaurant at around 7 p.m. on a Saturday night, Angelina's was closed. Needless to say, that was the first and the last time we ever went to that restaurant. more

Our favorite local spot 4/3/2005

Angelina's is a wonderful restaurant with fabulous, authentic, (New York style) Italian food. The Chef/Owner, Bob is fun and friendly. He normally has a glass of wine with us and makes all his customers feel like long time friends. He will go out of his way to accomodate all your needs. It's clean, affordable and delicious! We eat here atleast three times a month. Our five year old loves it too and will ask to eat here over any other place in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this place for an intimate, remarkable italian feast. Be sure to try to lasagna and the pizza. I have never had a bad meal or even a so-so meal. Every guest I've ever taken has loved it! I'm so happy this wonderful restaurant exsists amongst the fast-food and chain places that monopolize Wadsworth. Bob, the Chef owned and operated several restaurants in Manhattan! Pros: Excellent Food, Clean, Authentic Italian Cons: Closed mondays more

Italian food....NOT 10/22/2004

This was the worst Italian food we have ever eaten. The noodles were not cooked properly. The spaghetti sauce was very runny and did not soak into the noodles as it should. The fett sauce clumped to the noodles. The restaurant was very clean, but it was a cool October night when we went to eat there and it was freezing in the restaurant. When we asked them to turn off the a/c, they ignored our request. We will NOT ever go back there, nor will we recommend that restaurant to anyone. Pros: Clean Cons: , restaurant was COLD, slow service more

A bit o' back east 6/30/2004

Bob delivers the best Italian food available short of returning to my home town of New York. He actually had a couple of restaurants in Manhattan before moving out here. Your nose will let you know you've found THE place when you walk through the door. Treat yourself for much less than you'd expect. I feel lucky to have found Angelina's. Pros: Parking, food, price more

gourmet Italian food 6/27/2004

Excellent food, so fresh, delicious and specially spiced to raise it above the usual Italian fare. Prepared with pleasing presentation and warmth by a chef who truly cares about whom he is cooking for. A very pleasant dining experience at a very reasonal cost. Pros: excellent Italian foo, inexpensive, excellent wine list Cons: , needs Italian music more

Gotta Love it! Grazie! 4/29/2004

Been eating at Angelina's for over a year. I have to say that the atmosphere, food and, of course, the conversations with Bob are simply fantastic. It has become the benchmark for Italian for me and my family! Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Family more
