THE ONLY PET STORE I SHOP AT... 5/18/2011

OUTSTANDING customer service skills! The owners take the time to learn my name and all THREE of my dogs name and greets us every time we come in the store. My dogs get groomed here and they look great every time. We did some research on a special kind of dog food and could not find it in any stores; the owners ordered it and now has our dog food on their shelves!! Orders any thing we need for our dogs that they may be out of and calls us as soon as it comes in! I have stop going to all other pet stores! I only shop at Anderson Family Pet Center and I am excited to start my puppy in dog training with them tonight! more

Always Going Above & Beyond 3/19/2010

I agree with the previous comment. I too had an issue with grooming. However they made it right. Maybe it?s the fact that they try to do too much for too many people. That may have been the problem to begin with. As far as the rest of the place I can?t agree with you more. You couldn?t find a better place with more product, more diversity and a more caring staff than Anderson Twp Family Pet Center. They always go above and beyond what it takes to satisfy the customer. Given that, my rating is 4 stars because even if the grooming dept wasn?t 100%, the rest of the center is far superior than you will find elsewhere. more

STORE 5 STARS - GROOMING 0 STARS 3/7/2010

Please review the entire review to understand the context. PLEASE PLEASE HAVE A HEART AND DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR PETS TO GROOMING AT THIS PLACE. First, a clarification. I GIVE THE STORE AND THE OWNERS FIVE STARS... THE ONE STAR IS FOR THE GROOMERS WHO RENT THE SPACE FROM THE STORE. The store is owned by Darryl and Joe Ellen who are professionals and animal lovers. They are extremely knowledgable and customer service is far superior to anything you will experience elsewhere. They rent the space to a family who operates pet grooming service. We had a set appointment. After 3 hours, we returned only to find our dog soaking wet sitting in a crate for god knows how many hours. Only when we showed up, did the groomer pick up our shivering dog and start blow drying her. When we took her into the car, we realized she was still damp (thankfully we have towels in the car), her fur was all knotted up, nails were not trimmed and she was scared out of her wits. We've never had this experience with any more

Ask Anderson Family Pet Center about the "Nature Walk'' they provide to boarders. The "Nature Walk'' consists of a 15 minute walk around the dumpster. All this for $10 per day!\r \r I would strongly advise potential customers with small dogs who board at this establishment during holidays to ask if their dogs will be boarded in a run or a small crate. Hard to believe, but if there are too many boarders and not enough runs, they will place some small dogs in crates. more

Family Pet Center Does it All-Retail, Boarding, Daycare, Training, Clinic 7/4/2008

Anderson Township Family Pet has great selection of dog food, supplies and service. Store has knowlegeable employees, eager to help you with you dog questions. Dog food prices are competitive. Great boarding facility, open every day of the week - even holidays. Nice, clean facilities. When we picked up the dogs, they didn't want to leave. They even have day care for dogs plus dog and cat grooming too. Highly recommend. L.W. more

Great place foe all of your pets needs! 5/9/2008

This place has it all....doggy dare care, food, beds, toys, treat, leashes, collars, even vaccination clinics! and NOT just for dogs...\r Daryl is the owner and always goes out of his way to help with anything and everything...Tom, the groomer, and his team are jewels...my dogs love it here and they are always very accomodating.\r It makes me feel good to support our little home town business!\r Baeb more

Great Place 1/27/2008

Daryl and all the people there are wonderful to deal with. Their all friendly and refer to you by first name basis. Very helpful in selecting food and products for my pets. The grooming facility is a wonderful addition as well. Have used the kennel facilities yet but may for a future trip planned. Kudos to YOU!!! more

I love this place! 7/31/2005

This is a smallish pet supply center but what sets it apart is the customer service. The man who runs the place is so nice and always offers up some good advice about dogs. They carry the basics and are a little more expensive than bigger pet stores but the customer service makes up for that. They also have puppy and adult dog training classes and will board dogs for you as well. Great place! more

What can I say...this is a bar , not a restaurant. The burgers ARE NOT the best, get real...We had some really ""great "" greasy fries to go with the ""great"" NOT burgers. more
