All Day Towing

When my Jeep broke down I called my insurance company to have them arrange for a tow. They sent All Day Towing to get my vehicle. From the time I called my insurance company to the time the tow truck showed up was almost 1 1/2 hours. The insurance company called em 15 minutes after my original call to let me know that a tow truck was on the way, so I know it was not them that took so long. When the driver finally arrived, he could not tell me how much it was going to cost for the tow. The only thing that he said was that the insurance company would take care of it. This should have been a warning to me, but I was cold, tired and pissed off about my Jeep. I let the driver hook up to my vehicle, and away we went. Instead of taking the quickest route to get me home, he decided that he wanted to take a drive through the countryside. This added almost 45 minutes to our trip. When we finally arrived at my apartment, and before he would disconnect from my vehicle, the driver told me that I was going to have to pay $112 for the tow, and that my insurance company would only cover the hook-up fee. I called my insurance company and they told me the exact opposite. When I confronted the driver about it, he tried to explain that he had misspoken and that the $112 was for the additional mileage that the insurance company would not cover. This works out to be over $9/mile. Completely outrageous!!! I called other tow companies after forking out the money, and the most expensive cost per mile I could find was $3. I have reported this tow company to my insurance company and warned all my friends about them, This company is a huge rip-off. DO NOT EVER USE ALL DAY TOWING! The only reason I ma giving this a 2 star rating is because the driver was nice, extremely talkative, but nice. more

I was suprized when the person who answered the phone said they would be done shortly and could get a tow truck to me. I then waited an hour for the truck. As soon as I talked to the driver I could see why he was late. We live in Portland people! It takes time in traffic and with the tow driver's phone ringing off the hook, I could see he was trying to get to each place as fast as possible. He was very nice and even talked to me about the problems I was having with my car. Even though I knew he needed to get to many others, he didn't rush me and even set me up with a couple quotes to fix my car. Time was my only negative comment. Good costomer service. more

Ahmad didn't just come tow my Jeep, he wanted to know what was wrong with it and proceeded to find the problem that required me taking it to the shop for repair. He found what was wrong! I was impressed! The night before, I'd had a towing service come try to start my Jeep and the diagnosis was something entirely different than what Ahmad found. It was not NEARLY as big a problem as the prior tow truck driver described to me. Ahmad started my Jeep with a jump and found that it was the starter, not the wiring that was on the fritz. The previous driver didn't even TRY to start my car the second time and still charged me $80. It was $75 for All Day and the owner/driver (Ahmad) diagnosed my problem. He didn't have to do that. I was very grateful to him for helping out this poor, stranded damsel in distress. Thanks, Ahmad! more

My experience was great. My car was in an underground garage and wouldn't start. .My husband found Allday towing's number and gave it to me. the guy over the phone was friendly, and the charges were very reasonable. he told me exactly how much it would cost. I arranged for the driver to meet me at a specific time. He was there exactly on time, it was quick and easy to have him tow it to a repair place in my neighborhood. more

The owner of the company places fake reveiws up under false names to make his company look good when there response times are slow and there drivers are rude he will have any response that states the truth he will have it removed. more

They came fast,hook up my car and towed to the shop quick.My car problem was the alternator,they were very honest to give me the rigth diagnostic,and do not take advantage of my situation.Affordable and reliable is what they really are.
