I've been coming to this animal clinic for most of my life and each doctor here is very caring and amazing, the staff is even better on how caring they are with our animals. Especially the prices are really good. Dr.Tamas is very compassionate with people and has helped cure our animals many times. I HIGHLY recommend Alief animal hospital for their services and will continue to be a client. more

Dr. Ferdinand Tamas murdered my healthy 7 year old dog. Please do not go here. He combined numerous drugs and killed our family member with his lethal cocktail. Lucky Shah will be missed, and Dr. Ferdinand Tamas and Alief Animal Hospital is to blame. more

BEWARE!! The entire staff is incompetent. I paid for a visit to cure my dog's kennel cough, 2 weeks later the cough began to get worse than before he was treated. I brought him back but was charged $114 for a re-check visit. WHY? You charged me for the visit last time and I paid for the medicine but because it didn't work I have to pay again? I don't think this is fair. I have went to this vet for a few years but it is needless to say I won't return. They are money-hungry people who truly have no care about your animals health. more

I brought my Poodle to Alief Animal Hospital earlier this week and was very happy with their services and their prices. The vet clinic I had been using was good, but way too expensive. Even though Alief Animal Hospital is a good deal further away than my other vet's office it's still worth the trip. Dr. Tamas was very caring, and the staff seemed professional. more

My friend referred me to Alief Animal Hospital after she got her dog's teeth cleaned there last week for only $75.00. She said they have a new owner. I used to use them and had to change Vet's after having a bad experience with the last owner. I brought my dog in for a dental cleaning last Saturday. They did a great job at half the price of the vet clinic I've been using for the last 3 yrs. The new owner seemed caring and professional. I think I'm going to start taking my pets back to them again. more

I tried to buy heartworm and flea preventative online, but this clinic refused to "authorize" it, instead trying to force me to buy it from them at a higher price. Then when I told them they ripped me off with too high a price before, they tried to extort a $5 fee from me to fax back the authorization form to the online retailer I wanted to buy from (who had a lower price with shipping and all included). I have seen numerous other reviews online that also claim these guys prevent you from buyng elsewhere. more

I have been coming here since the 80's, not with my pet at first, but a friends'. Dr. Frederick has truly found his "calling"! He is passionate,genuine, he truly cares about the animals and the people who own them! His whole staff must've been hand-picked because they all reflect the same values! I have called him in the middle of the night, and he has met me there! I even lived in Beaumont and drove back to Houston to keep him as my vet! That says alot about his character and integrity. He says what he means, and he means what he says! A real comfort in this day and age!! Hats Off! more

My first experience with this vet was in 1998 when I moved in this area. My cat was seeing a very highly outstanding vet and staff and I did not trust him to see anyone else, but due to the distance of the old vet's location, I had to start taking him here. My only concern and with others is how good of care would they provide my cat. When my cat became ill in 2008 due to kidney failure, during this time I realized that he was and always had been under the best of care. Dr. Federick and his staff, particular Cat is wonderful! Sadly my cat passed, but I never forget how the staff cared for him and me. I now have two wonderful cats and this is definitely a place I will gladly add to trust to take care of my cats. while living in the alief area, we always took our dog for her check ups and shots to alief animal hospital. she never liked going to the vet, but was always welcomed here. on one occasion, we had to go out of town when she was ill and she was boarded there over the week end. we received daily update calls about her progress while we were out of town. more
