I decided to try this restaurant based on a couple of good reviews on City Search. Boy, do I feel like I was led down the old garden path. For starters, I didn't care for the atmosphere. The restaurant is located in a strip mall behind Tamarac Square. That made me feel like I was going to dinner at a hardware store. The food itself wasn't any better than commercial grade Mexican food. Didn't have a distinct taste or quality that jumped out at me and made me want to return. But what's more was the lack of service. I brought a date and we each ordered. This was on a weeknight, so it wasn't busy. Nutshell - it took about 45 minutes for them to get our dinner up. In the meantime, we saw our server only once. So after the first 10 minutes or so, we both needed a water refill. I ended up having to go up to the bar and ask for more water. To top it off, the manager acted put out when I motioned for him to come over. And then, it took us about 25 minutes to get our bill. Overall, not a good experience and very mediocre food. One can do much better for Mexican food in Denver.
