I have had nothing but poor dental experiences. Those experiences made me very afraid to go to the dentist. So, like many others, I just didn't go. I put it all off for as long as I could & finally decided to go to Dr. Sayre. I saw the commercial for the IV sedation on TV and at least wanted to check it out. My first visit was FREE! They did all my X-rays & I had a consultation with the dentist. After years of not going to a dentist I, obviously, had quite a bit of work that needed to be done. So, we sat down & decided what was priority and what could wait a couple months so I could space it out some. I just had my first treatment appointment today. I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled, one molar pulled, a cavity filled and a cleaning. I did use the IV sedation. I have not had a more pleasant experience in my life. The staff was all super friendly. There was hardly any bleeding afterwards. My mouth is no longer numb but it's not in pain. I'm a little puffy but not bad. Long story short, I am actually looking forward to the second half of my treatment because I know what to expect now and going to the dentist doesn't HAVE to be bad or scary. I live an hour away from the dentist office and even with that distance, I am more than willing to make the drive. That's how happy I am.
