Very Good Pizza 6/20/2011

A great place to hangout in the warmer weather with it's outdoor cobblestone dining area. It is in a happening part of Manhattan next door to Ulysse's Pub! The Old Fashioned Square Pizza is excellent and always perfectly cooked! The crust is thin and super crispy and one person can devour a whole pizza, it is that good. So if you find yourself in the Wall Street area give this place a try you won't be disappointed. more

Best pizza in NYC (beats Grimaldi's in Brooklyn) 12/18/2010

This is the best thin crust pizza you can get in NYC and I really mean it when I say that it beats Brooklyn's Grimaldi's. The pizza is amazing and the atmosphere is very cool and chic. And you do not even need to put up with the huge line that you face at Grimaldi's. I used to work close to this place and tried them many times, they never failed to deliver amazing pizza every time I eat there. Highly recommended!! more

I love this place!!!!!! 7/21/2009

the pizza is awesome ... so who cares\r \r Pros: awesome pizza Cons: very loud, crowded and wait staff isn't too friendly BUT more

Different but excellent 7/20/2009

Had a great time there on a recent Friday night. I wasn't expecting a rectangular pizza but apparently that's how they make 'em here. I was very pleasantly surprised. They weren't skimpy with the toppings, the sauce and cheese were very good and the pizza just tasted very fresh. Have to admit that we had leftovers and the pizza tasted even better the next day. Not cheap, but worth it for what you get. Pros: Great pizza more

Fantastic pizza in Fidi 12/13/2008

Great location on Stone St, this is consistently amazing pizza. Closest thing I can find to Lombardi's, which is my fav. Nice setting, friendly servers, cool vibe make this place a no brainer for anyone living in the neighborhood. Pros: cool space, amazing food, no attitude more

Disapointing 12/11/2008

My wife and I stayed Downtown for the night and were informed that Adrienne's Pizza Bar was the place to go for great Italian. We walked in and were very excited to try the Pizza. We ordered the Antipasto to share and were very disappointed. The plate was ice cold and asked if the food were newly prepared we were told yes. Low and behold the plate was taken from the cooler and served to us. Disappointment has set in. The waiter was a YES man. Every question we asked the answer was yes, not an honest answer. The Pizza was OK, not as great as our recommendations.\r \r We will stick to some of the other traditional pizza haunts in NYC.\r \r Pros: Beautiful Setting of Downtown Cons: Staff, Food more

unique and excellent pizza in snazzy atmosphere 12/6/2008

Live nearby and absolutely love Adrienne's. We've gone there several dozen times at this point, and have taken many of our visitors there. Everyone is always thoroughly impressed. A Long Island native pizza connoisseur dubbed it the best pepperoni pizza he'd ever had. You may have to wait awhile for delivery, but they're usually up-front about delays. We've never experienced any problems with the service there, and even if we had, I don't think it'd matter. It's that good. Old Fashioned Pepperoni. Pros: Old Fashion Pepperoni Cons: expensive toppings, not good for large groups more

great! 10/9/2008

i just moved to the Financial District and have been checking out places in the neighborhood. Stone Street is HOPPING. The happy hours there are a little too meat-markety for me, but it's pretty much worth it for the pizza at Adrienne's. My boyfriend and I had one of the old fashioned pies that had sausage on, and it was a-mah-zing. I'll probably stick to delivery from here on in since the interior's a little sterile for my taste, but the pizza really is some of the best I've ever had. more

Best Pizza in NYC 8/20/2008

My husband works in the Financial Districy and he has been telling me about the best pizza he's ever had--Adrienne's Pizza. Well, i finally made it out toeat with him last week, and he was not exaggerating one bit! The pizza at Adrienne's was honestly the best pizza I've ever put in my mouth!!! We ordered two pizzas: the margherita pizza and the four cheese pizza. Both were beyond delicious and lived up to everything my husband had described!! We are thrilled to have friends coming in town soon and we are going to shpow them exactly why NYC is known for its pizza--we are taking them to eat the best pizza in nyc at Adrienne's!! Pros: Best pizza ive ever put in my mouth!! more

Great pizza! 6/26/2008

I ordered from this place and loved the pizza, so when I heard it was on the happening Stone Street a couple of friends and I decided to check it out. Stone Street is a great hangout and Adrienne's is great pizza and friendly service! The anitpasta plates looked amazing too, and there was a decent selection of wines by the glass for about $8 average, not too bad in a place that seems like it could jack its prices up b/c of all the yuppies around! Definitely recommend. The old-fashioned pizza is square and a little thicker (good for 3 people) and the 10-inches are SUPER thin, so good for 1 hungry person or 2 people. Pros: Ambience, wine by the glass, pizza Cons: Crowded more

Customer Service Nightmare !!!!! 5/6/2008

I think the pizza is really good but I have to say we stopped ordering because the staff can care less... On many occasions they have been rude , have been put on hold and after waiting 5 mins called back and got helped , for delivery you can call at 7 am and they still give you an outrageous windown between 1-4 pm ...( i'm exaggerating but just a bit) and all this on like a wed. ...forget Fri ....I think the creator had a great idea but it's a shame that he is allowing his staff to run it into the ground.....eventually everyone will get fed up and this issue will have to be addressed.....Customer Service Nightmare!!!!!!!! Pros: pizza is good Cons: must order 3 weeks in advanced or six weeks for a friday more

Really neglectful service. Rude. 3/23/2008

Though the food is delicious (when they get the order straight) the service is a great disappointment. \r The last 6 times we have ordered a vegetarian pizza, it has had sausage on it. \r The staff does not seem to care at all about this at all.\r When we have eaten in the restaurant, the service is also quite brisk and terse.\r Though we have loved the food, we will not return again. \r If you want good service, forget about Adrienne's.\r If you don't mind being treated rudely or having sausage on your vegetarian pizza, enjoy!\r \r Pros: tasty food Cons: servivce is the worst! more

Very crowded and trendy place for the 20 somethings. Food was good price wasn't bad. Try delivery tonight more

Never again 2/1/2008

I called to order one pie and was forced to order a minimum of 2 for delivery. I was ok with that, even though it cost me $35 per pie. Then i called back not 2 min later to change one of my pies from toppings to plain and was told I could not. I was told that even if the pies are not made yet they were ""stacked"" and could not be changed, but they said it was not a problem for me to order an additional pie. 3 pies of pizza should not cost almost a $100. Especially when I could name 10 pizza places in NY that are far better. AVOID THIS PLACE! Cons: Over priced, terrible service, 2 hours to receive pizza, horrible attitude. more

worst customer service 12/28/2007

This place has great pizza, but unfortunately the manager and the host have no experience in customer service and it seems as though they don't care about any of their customers...or at least the ones that come in parties of 3. Recently, I went to this pizza place and the host assured us that after 20 minutes she would have a table ready for us. However, we were waiting for 40 minutes and she let 5 other parties cut us even though we had been there first---just because they were parties of 2, 4 or 5 and the restaurant has tables set up that way. I will never go to this place again. When my party tried to reason with the manager, he refused to listen to us and was even starting to become loud and unnecessarily rude. I am sad to say that this was the worst experience I have had in New York City dinning after three years of living in the City. My party left the restaurant with a disgust for how the place is run and hopefully you will not have this experience if you go there. NOT RECOMMENDED. Cons: Bad customer service. Worst experience in New York City dinning. more

BEST place! 9/13/2007

I would not write a review but Adrienne's is by far my favorite pizza anywhere. The square pie is great, I reccomend it to everyone I know and they all have loved it. As far as the serive, they get very busy sometimes (due to the great pizza!) but the manager is very nice and accomodating and the pizza is worth the wait. more

Delicious Pizza 9/3/2007

Adrienne's was highly recommended and I wasn't disappointed. The pizza, served unconventionally square, was delicious. The quality and texture of the crust, sauce and cheese made the pizza one of the best I've tasted in a long time. Wait staff went out of their way to serve us, bringing lots of ice water since we were thirsty from the hot day. Seating outside when weather allows, this is a true find in the financial district. Pros: Great food for good price Cons: None noticed on first visit more
