Great cover-up! 2/1/2008

Anne was highly recommended to me from a girl I met through a local hip hop dance class... I'm more than pleased that I went with her recommendation! I had an awful tatto from years back that Anne did wonders on. Love the cover up! Never in a million years would I have imagined up the art she did! You can't even tell that there is another tattoo under my new monkey tatto. Thank you! Pros: Comfortable atmosphere for most anyone! more

I love it! 1/28/2008

When I called the guy was very helpful. When I went there they were more friendly, nice atmosphere, was professional. The""BOYS OF ADORN"" were funny and answered questions I had. I will go back for my other tattoo really soon! Justin did my tattoo and I love it. I Pros: they treat you like someone not something Cons: I can't really think of any! more

Great Work 12/30/2007

I have had two tattoos done at Adorn so far. I loved the atmosphere and was really comfortable with the whole process. Recently I changed my mind 24 hours before I was about to have a tattoo done. I went in talked to Jasmine at the counter and she was really helpful in letting me change my design and appointment time. Pros: Great service and environment. more

Both locations are great for piercing 12/14/2007

I decided to get a couple body piercings so I did my research, found an industry group called Association of Professional Piercers (safepiercing dot org). They have a directory of members, and Adorn is on it. I also checked the Citysearch listings for good shops and those two sources were enough to convince me. Pros: follows industry standard safety practices, friendly, lots of great jewelry Cons: east side doesn't yet take credit cards more

Perfect. 10/28/2007

I love this place to no end. The people at adorn are real and educated. They know what they're talking about. The atmosphere is awesome. Everyone is so friendly, and it's so clean! I've been to various piercing/ tattoo places and have NEVER had a better experience than I have at Adorn. Prices are reasonable, staff is knowledgeable, and they always take walk ins! Lisa Blue & Kellan (sp?) have both pierced me- both are awesome! And I just got my most recent tattoo done by Jade Damion - He's amazing, and I won't waste my time going to anyone else. What a disaster 9/17/2007

I wanted to get a tat done here because I had heard good things about them. When I called the girl was extremely snotty. I had to call a couple times to get everything set up and every time I called she would get huffy and nasty about it. She wouldn't listen to what the design was, she made everything high drama and harder than it was supposed to be. I didn't feel good about this at all. I don't know about you, but I don't want someone with an attitude problem tattooing me. I nearly gave up, wasn't worth the hassle but a friend told me about Alternative Tattoo and we went there. It was a breeze, laidback, FANTASTIC work. Go there instead. more

Great Place to get your first tat (and im sure your 10th one too!) Great place!!!! 9/17/2007

I got my first tat here today and they were GREAT. I was planning on going to Captin Jacks in Portland but they were too busy at the time, so we drove over to Adorn (i heard they were really good) and i got a GREAT peice of art and they fit me right in. Tina did my art and she was great- very nice and made me comfertable! It was a graet experiance and i will go again! Pros: Very nice, great staff that knows what there doing, fits you in if poss AND LOTS MORE! Cons: Nothing., it a great all aroudn place! more

Give yourself a treat--GO! 2/10/2007

I am no kid and I have been in my share of--well back when I got my first one, they used to call them Tattoo Parlors. The girls are great, clean, professional, accomodating, informed. Lisa Blue is a keeper. I will be back! Pros: Was treated with concern and respect by professional artists. Cons: Just hard to see from the street. Look for the coffee shop. more

Great piercing experience at Adorn 2/6/2007

Just got my navel pierced at Adorn. Didn't hurt at all, and I got great after-care instructions from them. The shop is scrupulously clean, and the staff is knowlegable and super-friendly. Its a funky relaxed place, I love it! The 12-8 hours are really convenient too. Pros: Ambience, good staff, big selection Cons: hard to find behind coffee shop more

best place for body art needs 2/2/2005

I have been to my share of places for tattoos and piercings and Adorn is, by far, the best place for both. My tattoos are excellent quality and very resonably priced. My piercings healed very nicely, which rox cause I usually heal badly. All of my piercings have been located perfectly (I had my septum done and that can be very tricky). Desta is a sweetheart and everyone else is usually very nice too. I don't think I'll ever get pierced anywhere else again! Pros: good price, excellent quality Cons: long wait, weird parking more

Bad customer service... 9/17/2004

Though I arrived a the studio with high hopes because of their rating, the customer service was terrible. I was simply shopping for a nose stud, and the woman working took about three minutes to come out from the back room, then proceeded to critique the placement of my piercing without solicitation, and then proceede to answer her cell phone (which has the most annoying ring) and chat on the the rest of the time I was there. Absolutely fabulous 3/29/2004

I first went to Desta for a piercing before Adorn was even opened and I've gone back to her a couple of times and recommended her to everyone. Everyone at Adorn is incredibly knowledgable. Great experience all around. Pros: nice atmosphere, soothing piercers, great jewelry more
