High Cost 12/8/2010

Can't say that they were really bad or anything but I wish they were a little cheaper. I must say that they did a good job fixing my furnace and I am glad that it is finally working. Why must it be so expensive though? more

Great Service 12/7/2010

I won't say they were perfect but I was really satisfied with their service. I was having problems with my heater and although I had no idea what he was talking about he obviously knew what was wrong. In a matter of about 30 minutes from when the man arrived he had the heat up and running. The only slight problem I had was that they were there for 30 min and I still had to pay!! Shouldn't it be free if it is under a 30 min job? Well, maybe not but overall they did a great job! more

Quick and Nice 11/23/2010

Just when it starts getting cold my furnace goes out!!! I called Action and they were quite nice and came over to my house later that day. They were able to find the problem in no time(my furnace switch was off, I am so dumb!). I am glad to be nice and warm again. more

Scary Plumbers 8/5/2010

These guys suck! A p.o. box for an address? I should have known not to call these guys. I had to force the guy out of my house, he got so mad that I didn't want him to do it that I was actually fearful for my safety. Whoo! He even called me later to tell me that I was going to get ripped off by someone else and he could do it on his own time for much less. Get this guy out of my life!!! I had a very good company finish the job and it was a good experience, but I dont want to ever have to call a plumber again. It sure won't be these guys. more

Be very careful with these guys 8/2/2010

They came out for a ""check-up"" and told me verbally that my furnace was so rusted inside that if I fired it up ""I would kill my family"". \r \r So I called around and got quotes from other companies and went with a competitor. Turns out the furnaces are in perfect working order and I believe the guy was just trying to sell product. Sad part is I only found this out after I had pulled my furnaces out and replaced them and it cost me $8500.\r \r He didn't write the part about it killing my family on the work paper so Action refuses to do anything. Funny how he neglected to put that part in writing. \r \r DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS. They have changed their name 3 times in the last few years. Also the BBB shows all of the complaints against them. They also have faked lots of positive reviews on the review page with Google where in the space of 48hrs they got 17 reviews that were 5 stars...All other reviews were 1 star. \r \r AGAIN DO NOT TRUST THEM. Check everything they tell you. Cons: Not honest, expensive, and many others more

NOT Reliable 7/1/2010

Called Action for an AC tuneup. We scheduled it for one week out. Action called that day and said that they couldn't make it so we rescheduled for another week out. The lady that called told us that we would be the first ones that morning. The day of the appt. came and we waited around for 3 hours and No One ever showed up or called! I finally decided to call the business and got the, ""well sir we are very busy"" line. Very turned off. There are too many other places out there that could use the business and will show up when they say they will. Pros: Took my phone call Cons: Never showed up ... twice more

Bad Plumbers! 9/21/2009

I called these guys twice in a week and they misdiagnosed the problem twice, not only charging me $2000, but ultimately costing me thousands of dollars in water damage! The water damage was so bad I had to have walls replaced, ceilings replaced, flooring replaced as well as baseboards. I lost priceless pictures and files. When I called to talk to the owner he never returned my call. Cons: Charge for things dont need/misdiagnose proplem more

Not Impressed & Incompetent 9/6/2009

Action missed diagnosed our problem and wanted to charge $1,219.00 for something that cost me $250.00. All those fears about calling someone and being taken advantage of were confirmed with ""Action Plumbing"". ACTION PLUMBING: $118 - Service Call $258 - 3 lbs Freon $378 - Hard Start Kit $467 - New Fan Motor REALITY: $050 - Service Call $200 - 2.5 lbs Freon $000 - No Hard Start Kit Needed (Only a $14 Part!) $000 - No Fan Motor Needed, just unstuck & drop of oil Pros: Nice & Prompt Cons: Incompetent and Overcharging more
